Title: Suggestion - GUI for LEC-setyle speech
Post by: Rui 'Trovatore' Pires on Sat 08/10/2005 18:17:24
There is an optional GUI for thought, and likewise for text windows. A GUI for regular spoken text would not only "complete" it, it would also make umpteen neat effects (such as speech bubbles) all the easier.

Well, the issue is that LEC speech use overlays rather than GUIs as far as I know. But I agree, I would like to see the whole dialog interface being more customizable.

It does? I assumed that since "thoughts" without a specified GUI appear as regular LEC speech without talking animations it wouldn't be much of an issue...

This is a reasonable enough request, I don't know why it's not already supported to be honest.
