Title: Suggestion: InputDialogueAnswer
Post by: Radiant on Wed 20/12/2006 23:19:13
Or some better title than that. Anyway, what I'd like is a function that you can pass five or six strings to, displays those strings as dialogue options (like they would if you were talking with an NPC and used the dialogue editor) and returns the number of the option the player picked. Dynamic dialogs would be cool.

I second this.

Yep, I think this has been requested before. Sounds reasonable.

This would be really useful. It would make it very simple to script the player choosing from a list of items in a shop, while it would currently be awkward, particularly if you wanted to vary the items in stock.
