Title: Suggestion: Multiple script windows open?
Post by: Kweepa on Sun 05/10/2003 13:15:14
I'd love to have several script windows open at once, so I could easily look something up, cut and paste code, etc.

Oh, I'd love to be able to put the help window in the background too. Is that possible?

Cheers,
Steve

open up 2 editors with your game running.

Saving could be a problem... am I working in this one, this one, or this one? I'd like to be able to edit a few at once.

Good idea though - it's an interim solution...

To get the help in the background, you can load it seperately by running the AGS.CHM from explorer. I'm not quite sure why it acts strangely at the moment, it seems to attach itself to the editor window.

As for multiple script windows - I can see how this would be useful. Scummbuddy's workaround will work for reading another script, but be careful about which editor you save the game from, or you could end up in all sorts of trouble.

I have shortcut to the manual in the start menu 8) Also, Ctrl+Alt+M brings it up, so I in a way of speaking have it under my pillow.... :P That's the best solution.
