Heh, young whippersnappers, don't know they're born these days :p

You're right though, it hadn't even crossed my mind that someone may never have seen DOS... if somebody would like to draw a new quit icon in keeping with the style of the existing ones, I'd be happy to include it.

Heh, times change. I still use the command prompt for this and that, so peple think i'm some sort of 1337h4x0r :)
Also, that's why I have the quit icon for the ron GUI be an X... like in windows!!1 even the new template, which should be coming out soon I hope, has a red close icon ala winXP :P

In conclusion, I like the X, but I'm too lazy to make a AGS-GUI-lookalike icon for chris :P

QuoteFame and riches will be mine. I demand that CJ cut me in on 10% of AGS profits....  :)
8% for me and 2% for you. Its my last offer. Or we will see in court ;)

...But it's funny that no one remembers that he started dos...
Just as a side note: I thought IBM created dos. He just took over from them. I read that in a book somewhere. Hehe, but I'm the one who also thought the DOS prompt was originally >. :P

This gives me an opportunity to pimp my History of DOS page

Guaranteed no more than 17 mistakes or historical inaccuracies in the text!   :P

Timosity

That DOS history is quite interesting, cleared up a few things, or misinformed me even more with those 17 errors,

the first version I came across was 2 or 3 with my 8086, there were 80286 machines at the time but they were top of the line expensive things (eg. $3000-5000 AUS [ a few years before that IBM's were about $10,000 and not much better than a c64]), plus who even knew then, that IBM machines would be popular. Lucky they are now popular or no one could afford them

ThunderStorm

Timosity: The C:\DOS\> prompt was achieved with "prompt $p$g".
And by the way: I absolutely hated the prompt being only "A>" after booting from a disk. It almost hurt me physically. :)
