No voice speech in dialogs (SOLVED)

I put in speech for my game but the speech for dialog topics doesn't play. I can't find anything wrong with it either.

Do you mean playing voice speech from the dialog script of a dialog option or from the actual dialog option text?
What's the full text of the dialog option? / What's the full dialog script?
What's the name of the player character?
Does voice speech work in other parts of your game?

in the diologe script i numbered them like this:
Ego: &20 Hi.
I named the file Ego20
the voices work on everything else

Just Ego20? No extension?
Please turn off the Windows Explorer "Hide extensions for known file types" (Google it) and make sure the file is actually named Ego20.wav (or .mp3 or whatever) and not Ego20.wav.wav or something.

If it still doesn't work, have you tried using another file? Maybe the one you used for Ego20 is corrupt?

And remember to rebuild the vox files from the menu, just in case.

All the files are the same and they are .wav the problem is that its not playing the dialog speech everything else works fine. I had this problem on a different game as well It might be my computer.

Well I dont know what I did but I somehow fixed it. It just started working again.
