Somethings up in the land of hyenas. It seems like everything in the AGS editor is disaligned and not in the right size. I'm running 1024x768x32bit, but I don't think that's the problem. Here's a screenshot:

Here's the problem. Anyone got any suggestions?

If this is the wrong forum, please feel to move the thread to another. Then beat me. With sticks.

Hmm.. looks strange .. could be something to do with your windows font size (Or did i just make that up?)

I don't think it's a problem with the editor... This shouldn't really cause that many problems when playing. Could you not manage like this?

Scavenger

No, no, it doesn't cause ANY problems when -playing- the game, but you should see some of the display glitches I get in the editor. Makes it impossible to read. I tried messing around with the font size, but to no avail. The editor has well and truely messed itself up. It would be nice if the editor window was kinda.. dynamic.

Hmm.. Strange..

Tried Re-Downloading it?

I had a problem like that a while ago.. And it was the font size. Where did you go to change the size? Try doing it from the display properties in Windows (right-click on the desktop and click "properties"), select the "settings" tab, click "Advanced," and in the new window that comes up there should be a drop-down menu where you can select the font size.. It should be "Small Fonts".

AGS makes some assumptions about the Windows font size that perhaps it shouldn't do. Anyway, you'll need to make sure your standard font is set to 8pt (and Small Fonts as Ben points out) - also, ensure you have the Tahoma font installed.

Thanks Pumaman, Ben and Scuthbert! Now I can continue procrastinating about actually making a game! And remember kids, if you wanna make games in AGS, don't use Large Fonts =]
