Title: suggestion skipping up/down view
Post by: jetxl on Sat 18/10/2003 22:48:47
I'm not a great artist. Its hard to draw one walk animation, not even thinking about the other 3. Is it posible for ags to just ignore the up/down view and only see the left/right animations when the character walks? In "that night before" there were no up/down walk animations, and it never caused a problem.

why not just repeat the up down animations for the up and down views?

that's what i did in 6da and IG and what Helm did in Sol and so on and so forth

This has been requested before, so I'll bump it up my list.

eric's workaround will sort of work, but if you walk diagonally it can use the wrong loop and look like he's walking backwards, which obviously isn't ideal.

Unless either the player is Michael Jackson or the characters has diagonal loops set aswell to make sure they are walking frowards.

Yay, and when do we see Anti-Glide mode setting to characters INDIVIDUALLY?  Like, I don't want my plane to stop moving after every 3-4 frames, but I want roger to do so.
