Installation Bug With Apprentice

hello
i used to play apprentice on my old pc, but i just got this new one, so i downloaded both apprentice and its deluxe version, and neither of them seem to be working correctly for me

after unzipping the files, i tried using app.exe and using winsetup.exe, and both of them gave me an error message saying that i have to create and save a game first in the ags editor before i can use this engine
i dont really know what to do

What directory did you unzip them into? Try a simpler directory name like "C:\apprentice" and see if that helps?
