I am unable to run Quest for Glory 4.5. I downloaded this version from the Underdogs website since the official site is down. When I use it my screen sort of flickers. I once got a message about a "system error", because the qfg.exe "did not respond to start or control requests in a timely fashion". Beyond that, no joy.
QFG4.5 is compiled with a very old DOS version of AGS. I'm not sure which version the Underdogs are hosting, but try out the "Windows 2000 version" as they used to call it on the QFG4.5 website.
According to the "file properties" of qfg.exe, it is a dos program so I assume it is the DOS version I got from the Underdogs. Do you know where I can get the Windows 2000 version?
