When will the '&' notification feature be added to AGS?

Sorry for my impatience, but I'm really curious when this feature will be realeased because I need it for my game.

As a general point, I wonder if CJ could let us know what he thinks he will be implementing when in future versions. Come on Pumaman, get that "roadmap" up...!

Esseb, you fool, that's the "^" cancellation feature! He's talking about the "&" notification feature! Get with it, man! :P

This must clearly be a bug. I expect this to be fixed in the next release.

I, for one, will immediately cease all usage of AGS until the '&' Notification Feature is properly implemented.  It is paramount for the completion of my game!

I'm sorry guys, but the '&' Notification Feature is just too complex to add into AGS 2. It will have to wait for the complete code re-write for AGS 3 in order for it to be incorporated.

Dorcan: ah well spotted, that could be it. Well, in that case I can't answer the question at the moment. It's still on my to-do list, that's all I can really say for now.

1. How long are your to-do list? (It must be at least a meter with normal fontsize)
2. How many hours do you spend on making AGS?
3. Ever thought about getting some help (or is it your baby only)?

My to-do list is currently about 40 KB and is always growing. People request stuff faster than I can add stuff ;)

Varies - this week quite a lot because I've had a lot of spare time, but usually just a couple of hours each weekend.

I do have Shawn who maintains the Linux port, but other than that I think it's better off if I have sole control - otherwise I'd end up spending more time managing other people than actually getting anything done ;)

Sorry, what I mean was different. The '&' notification feature should be for the DisplaySpeechBackground command, remember? You already said you would it put on your To-do list, but when will the feature be implented?

As I said, I'm afraid I can't give any timescales of when it might be added. It is on my to-do list and will be done at some point.

Basically, don't rely on it happening for your game.
