What do most people use for making Backgrounds, sprites and stuff, because I need a program to make them in (MS Paint is just to limited)
I hope this is the right forum to post this in
I'm not quite sure if this is the right forum, but I'll answer your question anyway...
Most people use either Adobe Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro. I personally use Photoshop 6.0 for all my spriting and backgrounds.
There are alot of people who also use alot of free programs. I'm not quite sure what these programs are, or where to obtain them, so hopefully someone can help you out if need be.

May i suggest that your skills with MS Paint are limited? using a better program does not instantly make you better

It would be the right forum, if it wasn't for the fact that your question is already answered in:

Its all in the artist. I get along fine spriting in mspaint, among many others. Photoshop is nice for clear sections in gifs and for, well, photoshopping.
hmmmmm... I didn't find those threads.
Anyway what I mean about paint is the grid, you can only view it when zoomed in to X8
thanks for the replies
