Scummbuddy

Interview Bill Tiller and ask him what he thinks of Paco Vink's work with the Monkey Island 1 comic.
- Oh great, I'm stuck in colonial times, tentacles are taking over the world, and now the toilets backing up.
- No, I mean it's really STUCK. Like adventure-game stuck.
-Hoagie from DOTT

Vel

INterview with roberta williams to ask has what does she think of KQ1VGA and KQ2VGA.

benbigbrain

1) Who would you like to see interviewed, and why? Ron Gilbert and Al Lowe.

2) Which games would you like to see reviewed? broken sword 3, full throttle 2, that new shadow realm game looks real cool aswell (i think thats wot it was called) the one by garage gothic but that may come under previews.

3) What would you like to learn about in a tutorial? maybe film style cutscenes

4) What else do you think the zine should include? previews, downloads, maybe fan art, letters etc.

m0ds

You're going to be turned on 100% by the new zine. It's gone from "average magazine" to "developers dream" now. All adventure developers are guranteed to enjoy it. I'm dead proud of it.

And Ben, some of your dreams could well be fulfilled.

m0ds

veryweirdguy

Any idea when it'll be back up? I'm looking forward to it, because if you're that proud of it, it's bound to be great!

(Gods sake m0ds, how do you keep all your projects going?)

Captain Mostly

I believe his secret has something to do with silver bells, cockle-shells and little maids all in a row... Although I may have forgotten the exact wording of the rhyme...

anyhoops, I'm looking forward to this issue as well. I may even print it off to keep (it'd be ALMOST like having something m0ds had touched! Then I could put in under my pillow and the next day he'd either ask me to marry him... or maybe get an itchy nose... I can't remember that either. It's been such a long time since I was in the playground, I'm out of touch...)

Vel

I would love to see the "developers dream", as m0ds described the zine, and to raise the level of me own eziney.

m0ds

You mean, steal my content? :P Nah, it'll be ready soon. I'm just waiting to find or get hosting :)

m0ds

Vel

No, it's like to see what the other eziners have got to show.

And, btw, mixnmojo is down again, so I guess we'll have to wait some more for the AGDzine.

Its true! It was down, for, like two or three hours.

big brother

If you want...

You could interview me about Apprentice 2 for the next AGDzine. It could be kind of a sneak preview, complete with some exclusive art.

Let me know if you're interested.

Oooh, interview me, too!

Then again, not.

Big Brother's the "mastermind" behind Herculean Effort. He has a LOT of interesting stuff he could tell you in the interview. (like how to construct a peanut-butter-and-jelly sandwich using only one hand)

Besides, if you interviewed me, I'd probably go babbling off about diatonic chord scales in B sharp. :)

EDIT: ...which is, by the way, a very interesting topic.

big brother

Ooh, tell us more about:
"diatonic chord scales in B sharp!"

Well, you see, diatonic chord scales are pretty easy, but B sharp is an interesting key. It is the same as C, but you have to think of it in terms of B sharp. The diatonic chord scales go something like this:

I: B sharp major 7
II: C double-sharp minor 7
III: D double-sharp minor 7
IV: E sharp major 7
V: F double-sharp dominant 7
VI: G double-sharp minor 7
VII: A double-sharp half diminished 7

Now try playing a song in B sharp -- thinking of it in terms of B sharp, mind you!

That ought to put you in the mental hospital for a few years! :)
