AGS Award Ceremony - The log

Here's the log of the award ceremony, for those unfortunate souls who missed it:

Formatted log, edited out people joining/leaving/renaming and basically disturbing the peace. Also edited out the cheering.

Raw log, same thing, but with all the chaos and people making fools of themselves for 30 seconds.

Oh crap, I totally forgot about it. I was up all night doing this Uni assignment anyway and so I could have joined on if my memory wasn't made of trout. Always next year, I guess.

Unfortunately I had to help out my brother-in-law yesterday, so I wasn't able to make it.

But enough excuses: Congratulations to the winners (it's well deserved), and a HUGE 'Thank you' to Al_Ninio, for posting the transcript so that we could all catch up on the fun.

Anyways, quite a hilarious ceremony there... I would have liked to have joined, but as usual us australians need sleep. 5/6am is a little too early I thinks.

Yeah, thanks to everyone! It was a real blast, and even though the timing wasn't too convenient for me (Even though it was in the afternoon), I was able to stay for the whole thing. Good show Pesty and AGA, and I hope to see you all next year (Maybe at an earlier date, haha).

Wow, thanks Snarky! Excellence... I always suspected I was excellent.

Seriously though, congrats to everyone ^_^ I was cheering for Apprentice so I'm glad it got the recognition it deserved.

EDIT: And it's not that I don't adore Apprentice, but I wanna give my hard earned AGS Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Field of Excellence (and specifically - background design) to Darth for A Friend Indeed, because that game was revolutionary for me.

I spent the evening visiting my girlfriend's father in the hospital (hip replacement surgery) so was unable to attend the ceremony.

Congratulations to the winners ... especially the one's in the categories I was in. I'll gladly accept defeat from you guys

I agree. Darth, you definitely got out there and made something in a completely different perspective, artistically, from what people have done in the past year.
