Title: AGS Ezine in need of a second writer
Post by: Vel on Sat 05/06/2004 12:43:34
As the AGS Ezine is growing, I will probably need a punctual and talented writer.
What for, I hear you say? Well, I can't find the time to play all the AGS games released. And the rate of games is much higher than last year. So, you want to be a writer for the AGS ezine? Send an email to vel@abv.bg telling why should you be the writer and attach a review of a game.
Thanks for participating in advance.

perhaps a link to the AGS Ezine, and a description of what it is... would help.

When you first started on the ezine, it sounds bad, but I wasnt all that impressed. It was a word document, and didnt seem all that professional. Well that idea changed a couple of days ago when I actually went to the site, and saw that it was pretty good. I was very impressed with the layout and everything, so youve been doing good work.

If I had time, I would consider writing, but I'm not the best writer, and yeah, I dont have that much time atm. Sorry.

The site looks good because Darth Mandarb does it. Vel still makes the word document. Like it was the first time.

My advice.. If you want a second writer..  Find one..  And then, to keep one, you mustn't shove 18 stories on them, and then expect it all back in less than a months time.. And when you don't get all the stories, don't mock them and drag their name through shit in your next issue. Cause then they won't want to do anything for you.

yea

LGM, I need the second writer for like, 2 reviews per month( I will still do the majority myself). Auhsor, download the latest word document, its 100 times better than the first one.

Hotspot, pity, work faster.

Finally, I have received some pretty damn good reviews, keep 'em coming.

Well, as a proud geek with absolutely no life (I mean come on, look at my friggin' username!), I'd be begging you to allow me to be the second writer.  I play god knows how many AGS games, heh.  You can talk with me privately at comic_book_guru@yahoo.com.

Hey

I've written some reviews for OldGames.NU, in the adventures section.

Amazon: Guardian of Eden (or something)
Cruise for a Corpse
Flight of the Amazon Queen
Return to Ringworld
Touché: Adventures of the Fifth Muskateer
Wayne's World
..and others, but I can't recall which.

I'm mid-way thru writing more.

I'm also a stickler for punctuality, and I have far too much time on my hands.

Hugs
Iqu

I'm the first to poke fun at Vel, and I'm glad to read The Monthly Roger, but I think that anyone who prefers the last TMR to the last Ezine has to be a little bit biased (or alternately, silly). TMR is "playing catch-up" as so many sports commentators say

'tis true, that TMR is a little bit.. 'raw' because we lost conact with Os for a while.

Sure Jet, I'll wait for you.
Iqu, could you please send me your reviews, cause I don't really feel like looking for them in that enourmous site.
