Well I was reading through the UK magazine PC Gamer today and came across a small article that was talking about a BASS 2 in development. It said that an idea to make it was ebing discussed but couldn't confirm much. Anyway, I don't know if this has been mentioned before but this has got me all excited :)
When I was a little kid we had a sand box. It was a quicksand box. I was an only child... eventually.

TheDude

Dude, this is like sooooooooooooo last year.

Still, great news though. Hopefully we'll get a little more details on it soon...

AGA

It's somewhat old news. It was mentioned on Adventure Gamers a few months back here.

GarageGothic

Well, this might be slightly new. I interviewed Charles Cecil a couple of weeks ago. And this is what he had to say about BASS2:

"I can't really discuss the project at this early stage. However, I can confirm that it will not be a traditional adventure but instead explore innovations in interactive-narrative!"

Does that then mean it'll be crap, or good?

:P

Chicky

modgeulator

It means it will be innovative  :P

LordHart

Therefore... crap... >:(

LGM

How come all you people think just because someone tries something new and innovative in an advenure game, it'll be crap?

Open up your minds!!!
You. Me. Denny's.

LordHart

To take a page from DG's book...

[LGM]Obviously, you haven't SEEN uh... something new and innovative that sucked! :-\[/LGM]

I'm lame at this...

modgeulator

I think it means we'll have to wait and see...

Redwall

I think they're trying to imply it will not be a game where every other puzzle involves pushing around boxes.
