You probably noticed I've been giving the manual a makeover.
Use this thread for wishlists, broken functionality reports, etc.
It's been tested with Chrome and Firefox, but Safari may still have some quirks to iron out.
Last thing I had planned was adding a version selector, either on the top-right, or above the topics on the left, or both (desktop top-right and mobile on the expandable menu).
The ags4 manual is not yet fully documented, and there's still some work to do to deploy both ags3&4 on the website. But generating both chm and html for either versions has been proven to work, so it's just a matter of time.

Hey, thank you so much for your time and your work. (nod)
And please forgive me but I don't know if you're talking about the Github or the in-AGS manual...
To me it sounds like both but that might just be my own level of "english understanding"... :-[

I'm mostly asking about the website.
The local manual only received improved topic hierarchy and changed folder icons. (Not sure if the latter has been bundled yet)

Please post the link to the manual you are referring to.
I assume it's this:
https://adventuregamestudio.github.io/ags-manual/
By the way, I could not understand if the new website has a link to the online manual. Can't find it anywhere.

https://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/create/help-support/ -> "Getting Started with AGS"
I appreciate it may be more use to have it in the Create menu, given people in active development are likely to want to refer to it regularly.

Hmmm.... it took me a while to notice the "Help and Support" link on the "Create" page, it's somewhere very far in the end, and is a plain link in the midst of a block of text.
Another thing, why is the link called "Getting Started with AGS" and not "AGS Manual"? Supposing a user have already started, they may just skip this link altogether.
The docs are a primary resource, they should be immediately visible on the menu bar (no submenus), or at least have a button in the homepage as the first thing one sees.

A few people have made similar comments about other things: some people think the forums are the most important thing, some the games, some the manual (and other dev-related things).
What needs to be understood is that the vast majority of our visitors actually come here to
play games someone else already made. Next-most traffic is to the forums, leaving the devs as the smallest proportion of our users. That's not to say dev work isn't important of course - without it we wouldn't have the games or need the forums! It's just that the design of the site has to be a balance between the three.
I've added a link to the manual near the top of the Create navbar menu, and reworked the Help & Support page to put the manual front and centre.

What about also adding the "AGS Manual" button to the forums topbar? There's a link to AGS Wiki already, but not to the manual.
