I was ambushed with an impromptu interview, oh the nerves!

The internet editor? "Y'know, because the maladies aren't real"? damn if I could do it over again I would...to fix :D But hey this is real life I guess, captured in all its naked glory.

My only crit would be to put some background music in, something light that would make this feel more like a radio show.

Podcasting is a means of distributing audio and video programs via the Internet that lets users subscribe to a number of files, also known as "feeds," and then hear or view the material at the time that they choose.

subtitles, which would be impossible with a radio program, won't work here, but a transcript would, but then, you'd just have any ol' interview you can find on the internet.

Poor Pesty sounded like she was being stalked by an ex boyfriend.  She wanted to hang up, but wanted to hear why her ex wanted her back.

This just reminded me of when my ex dumped me and how she sounded on the phone.

I'm sorry.

Wow, Disco must be a robot! There's no way human could add phaser filter to his voice, and that's what happened near 1:05.

Shit, I'd pay to have ability like this.  :D

AGS Voice Interviews definetly needs a startup tune. With all moderators singing together or something.

Members speaking about their stuff is interesting to hear, but I still think a transcript would find some good use...

Becky has the most extraordinary honey-like accent ever. I'd marry her for that accent alone. And if it weren't for that...pale...skinny....tall guy.

The special edition was the funniest one yet!  The hilarity of these definitely lies in the awkward silences and pauses.

"So... like in the menu... little option thing, would it have 'space' in front of everything.  Like 'space hunt' and 'space ford the river' and 'space caulk the wagon?'"

"No."

"Oh."

"That would be really dumb."

(long pause)

"O...K..."

I tried to stifle the laugh, but everyone at work looked at me like "What is he lauging at?  What is he doing wearing earphones?  Shouldn't he be working?"

Great stuff!  Keep 'em coming!

I know my magic tape has footage of the bed Mills and I shared, the shorts of Erics that I wore, and netmonkey hugging my back.Ã,  What a gay old time we had at Mittens.

There is even footage of us all talking merrily about games in some sort of game theory discussion. Hmm, if only everyone could get to see it.

Just checking out the old mittens videos will generate laughter. Too bad I didn't get the more controversial GTD of adding the GUI button "Punch".  ;) This one is all about the satisfaction of endings in adventure games, while finding the nice medium between an easy puzzle, or seemingly impossible. Major game spoilers are about, as we give away the ending to well over 25 games. Before watching, play every adventure game, just to be safe.

Interviewing Grund wasn't bad at all.

And choosing between MI 2 and 3 is a hard choice. CMI is wonderful on its own, and MI2 did bring MI to its best level. And MI4 is as bad as its rep is given.  ;)

"Did you say Monkey Island theme? But how did you?... oh right, my phone went off during the interview..."

and then you answered it... classic. cant believe you were on IM during it. Now I'm going to write you out of the blue all the time to try and catch you. We'll hear some interview later and in the middle of it you'll scream out "Damn you Scummbuddy!!!"

I like how you added the "what do you do when creating games" type questions. I think a quick question at the beginning about "how you got your name" would be a fun addition. I doubt everyone can remember others answers from that that thread.

Zooty's interview made me... rofl? It was really funny!

And Petteri's strong Scandinavian accent is kind of... familiar? I'm sure mine is exactly the same (this is what happens to how you sound when you live in far north!)

Heh.

There seemed to be some lag in my interview, too.

Nice interviews, everyone. And it was nice to be interviewed. I'm sorry for the humming on the background and the ear-exploding puffing when I laughed, I used a microphone that was attached to my headphones.

Zooty had nice voice, it was nice to hear Andail again and Chicky's voice is veeeeeeery deep.

The whole conversation was like 'the game sucks, but we don't know why.'
And Zooty, how can you review a game if you haven't ever finished it! You can't be bothered to use an hour of your life to play this game? If so then don't do the review.

What happened was yet again our server's hard drive broke. We're dumping Server4You, the providers, because they failed to fix it all these times. The new server is being set up, just wait for a bit.

(This also affects: AGS Torrents, AGS Uploads, AGS Wiki, #ags IRC, Grundislav's games, AGA's games, some other people's sites, but all these should be back soon)

Yeah, you can almost hear the sense of grudging obligation in my voice.  ;)  Hope y'all liked the PODQuest, it was a lot of fun to record.  True to life, I say "awesome" a lot and declare my love of muffins and the occult.  Er...just muffins.

Oh, and Zooty, finish the game, eh?  The ending bit only took me a month to do.  :P

You gave my game a bit too nice review, in my opinion. Because I personally don't consider it as a very good game. But thanks for the kind words anyway.

And yes, Buna Wants Christmas was supposed to be released last christmas but I got lazy. You can expect it next christmas though. I swear... (http://koti.mbnet.fi/paapeli/rsmiley/shifteye.gif)

"He got nailed by the dog"? HAHAHAHA!!!!! Oh, Ivy must mean nailing in the beaten manner. My bad. :D

She says "Awesome"! Is that some kind of common word in Canada or just a coincidence that my Canadian internet friend says that all the time?

I should wear my "Se habla español" T-Shirt more often.

Sucks that I wasn't able to talk and created most of the skype noises but then again if I could... I was at work,  and I don't have my own office. how awkward it would have been!

SPOILER WARNING:

No, Thank you!

Seriously, it's been fun. Kind of sad at the same time, too. I'll miss you all! Oh wait I still have you on my messenger, cool!

Did you listen to the final last one? :P They say that is the last regular podcast. There are plans to record them for special events like Brittens/Mittens and perhaps awards too.

Success!

Until you guys trailed off into nonsense about Montana, that was the funniest podQuest yet.

Would you believe that after I made A Man of African Descent Seeks Reprisal (in 10 minutes BTW), Bradless actually PMed me to ask for some advice on making games?  Too bad his version of the game won't be eligible for that certain AGS award unless he puts it in the AGS database.  Or I suppose someone could put it in for him...

I don't know much about Bradless but IMO that was out of order.  I haven't played either version of the game but if the guy wants to add it he can, I don't think it's necessary to publicly humiliate him.  We should be trying to teach him how to improve his games, not setting up hatesites for our own pleasure.  Remember, "don't be hatin" :)

Made me laugh ALOT when you started talking about the game by Bradless.
And I agree about Vince Twelves version is ALOT better.

PODQuest. Has awesomeness all over it. Chris is really inaudible. Dave Gilbert's so funny. Grundislav is always great. Erin is so clumsy... Especially the part in the beach.

I've been looking for Podquest episode 19 everywhere. Neither of the Podquest authors has it and the official download link is broken. If somebody happens to have saved all the Podquests somewhere and happens to have this very episode I would be very pleased if that somebody could share it.

Wow, a podcast about what happened since the last podcast - very good so far!

Thank God none of you two watched Avatar because I'd have to fast-forward that bit.

EDIT: I thought I'll lose my hearing after you cranked up the volume for the musical outro at the end, but otherwise a brilliant episode. More!

Holy cow! It's a blast from the past! And everyone is sober this time around!  :o

Nice to see the return of these. I'm a podcast junkie so hopefully this will give me a regular fix.

Also, get that podcast page up and running ASAP. I need more old podcasts to dig through. That "Coming Soon" page is SO GeoCities. Come on, Grundy. Use some of your piles of Ben Jordan money to get those old podcasts hosted properly!  :D
