Very interesting interview with Al Lowe over on Gamasutra. It's an extract from a book on graphic adventures which I can't really work out whether is just a compilation of Wikipedia articles along with some interviews. In any case, Al gets into some stuff I haven't read before about how the art resources for Sierra games were created (Think you're keepin' it real and kickin' it old-school style by pushing pixels? Now, put away that newfangled mouse contraption and try doing it with a Pong controller!)

Sorry to double-post, just wanted to bump this to let you know the full book is now available for free download (as well as purchase if you are so inclined), from the author's website.

Haven't looked very far into it, but there's some cool - and I believe original - interviews with David Fox (creator of Zak McKracken) and a couple of other early LucasArts people. Most of the content does however come from Wikipedia and has been previously published on various fansites. Still worth a download though.

Very, very interesting interview.  I wrote to Al a few years back to thank him for creating Black Cauldron.  He even wrote back!  It was like I was talking to Al Pacino.  Anyway, thanks for posting!
