Can I play ags games on my pocket pc?

Ive played games like monkey island and sam and max on my pocket pc with PocketSCUMM. Is there any program to play ags games on the pocket pc?

BTW I have an overclocked ipaq2215

it won't be possible.
ags uses allegro, i don't know whether you can run allegro on your ppc.
but i seriously doubt chris would program a ppc-only executable.

and you can't really play adventures using a parser that well on a ppc

Is it that hard to read what i asked? I asked for a PROGRAM.(not being mean to dasjoe or scummbuddy)

And to scummbuddy- ive tried that before, and the icon shows up, but when i tap it, it says its not a valid pocket pc program.

and in case anyone else like shbazjinkens doesnt understand my question, I'm looking for a PROGRAM to run vgs games for my pocket pc. Maybe like an emulator or somthing because pocketscumm runs day of the tentacle, monkey island, and other lucas art point and click games.

This program works very well

and to dasjoe- whats a parser? adventures work great on ppc. besides, nobody can make a ags emulator? theres a playstation1 emulator for pocketpc, so i dont see how its not possible

a parser is the textbox-interface-thingie, used in the early sierra games. you had to type what oyu wanted to do.

Someone converted the engine somewhat to Linux (I have no idea how the progress goes I lost track of it many moons ago).

So a Pocket Pc port of the engine to run .ags files isn't totally out of the question. To answer your question however (The hell is wrong with all of you?)

No port of the engine has been created thus far. The only popular SDK I know of for the PPC is the GAPI. Which is an extremely stripped version of Direct X. Many of Agses more common features could probobly be ported using that but for 90% + compatability someone would either need to do a lot of "Make-up" coding or find a more robust SDK.

(If anyone does know of a better one for the PPC then GAPI please let me know)

Sounds like I didn't realize that a port was needed for a PocketPC, and so I thought you should just try it, because in fact, that's what happened. If you just want to get angry though, whatever. It's your life, live it in whatever emotional state you want.
