Amateur music composers reviewed

I couldn't find any other references to this and it took me ages to find again because it wouldn't come up in Google - but Mark Rosenberg has a nice website that I stumbled across a few days ago, devoted to reviewing music by amateur adventure game composers. This includes Chrille, Gregg, myself, Shane & Peter. There aren't many reviews yet so send him your ideas! I'm going to ask him to review the Spooks score by The Scorposer.

And Mark if you're reading, it's a very cool site with a great idea. You don't really need to make it look too flashy - the design now is fine! Reviews are well written & it was just nice to stumble upon

He also did the music for Duty and Beyond which I thought was (the music) awesome.

Hey, wow, there's a review of me there! He seems very perceptive of the music, and his critiques (at least in my case) were spot on. (But I think it's worth a mention, by the way, that the sounds used in App2 were from a synthesizer from 1995)

I'll read some of the other reviews, this looks really good.

Except for ProgZmax's game, I had no idea these games had seperately released soundtracks!

Mind's eye did have samey-ish tracks, but most games do to keep within a theme.

This is an amzing work, and I think that there must be ways to support it... :-/

Definately a worthy try and hope to get my music (once at least one of the games I'm working on is released) on.

This was a stylistic choice, since I prefer to have the music in my games all tie to a central theme.  He was right about the 80's influence, though I wouldn't say it's reminiscent of John Carpenter.
