YES THERE IS!
AGS NEWS #3 (http://www.screen7.co.uk/junc/ags_news_3.pdf) - June 2008
AGS NEWS #2 (http://www.screen7.co.uk/junc/ags_news_2.pdf)
AGS NEWS #1 (http://www.screen7.co.uk/junc/ags_news_1.pdf)
It's short, it's rude & you probably know everything it speaks of already. But there hasn't been anyone publishing crazy PDF magazines or newsletters lately, so here's one to enjoy briefly!! I could get in trouble for this ;) Enjoy though!
Hahahaha this thing is hilarious. Don't change the writing style. :D
Keep them coming. ;D
Hilarious: ;D
Anyway : THAT'S CALLED FAST NEWS: Less than 1 hour after Dualname Release his game... (maybe usual press payola...) ::)
*Dan give the AGS-Pulitzer price to Mods*
Fun!
One suggestion, you should add the date to the paper, or else you won't know what it's about when time passed.
Wow. I love Mark Lovegrove. I mean I never thought I'd see my game posted in a magazine. Great idea Mods. You should really really make this like AGS pod quest was.
Something we all waited for.
Haha, hilarious, I nearly pissed myself laughing :D
More!
Many thanks!! I will add a date next time! About the email address, I completely forgot I had it switched off at Brittens.
So instead, send articles to games@screen7.co.uk
:)
Funny, I can't remember having said any of that! It sounds like me though!
Ah well, I'm off teaching now.
Hehe, good stuff ;)
But remember guys, Fact x Importance = News.
Hahahahaha!! Groovy!
"Crisps on floor!" oooh I said that! ;D
Andail you did a typo! ;)

This is a conversation.
This virtual paper is just brilliant! :P Can't wait to see next issue. Is this monthly, yearly or weekly?
Judging by the average AGS related magazine, it's one-issue. Although I hope this one stays alive longer than the AGS Bulletin, Crapgaming Weekly, Extreme Gamedesign and what they all were called.
QuoteIs this monthly, yearly or weekly?
Wheneverly ;) Next issue tomorrow!
ROFLMAO awesome.
There's more news! Well, hardly!
Still, plenty of interesting & bizarre contributions so enjoy :D

It's short, rude & you probably know it already -- Un-official AGS News is just for fun!! :)
And back issues!

Excellent stuff. ;D
My name in print! Oh, the joy!
Hooray! :D
Another fabulous issue.
Make more. Really. I'd love to read one per week.
YAY I had a blurbed interview!!!!!
:O i am in the news!
That's years old and my art isn't much better :(
These are awesome!
I laughed very much.
Hehe brilliant, quality as always m0ds ;)
Thanks for the comments :) Glad you enjoyed CJ :D and everyone else! Once a week is a bit too much, but once a month is reasonable. There's generally been plenty of news to report, I just haven't :p This issue was going to come out a lot earlier with funny stuff but I forgot it. ::) But I'd like to keep this as regular as possible. Just about any article will be included if it's nicely written or seems to fit the AGS theme, so email me some! Otherwise it will just be my writing :o
I'm still waiting for an interview with Yahtzee for issue 4, and I hope to get back into the swing of interviews from people well within the games industry, and of course AGS. That gives me a secret idea!!! ;) So if there's anyone you particularly wish to see interviewed, retro or not, just let me know why or what here or in an email :) Hopefully Ivy, Gilbert & Andail will return in issue 4. And maybe Ben Jordan will investigate something for us .^^
None the less thanks for reading! They're fun to make!! :D
Oh, and somebody kick Vel and make sure he has content for the next issue :p
Ah thousands of apologies to you m0ds, in between my law and history exams it just slipped my mind! I'll make it up for the next issue, I promise!
Some reasonable interviews I guess would David Fox and Al Lowe and I would particularly love to know their thoughts on AGS and its games and community.
Did I solve the piece a puzzle #1? :
Spoiler
The cups on the ground are flipped
The road line is slightly different behind the cactus
The hills on the right have more spikes
The hill on the left, seems to be a boulder in right picture a spikey mountain in the left.
The center background mountains are also different.
Hope I was right...
And for the #2, which was quite difficult:
Spoiler
Beyond terror
robotragedy
Two of a kind
Tempus fugit --- This was really tough, took me a few days. I had to look through the forums over and over for this one.
enoworld --- What the hell???? I had to search for this one too... I guess the last two were really hard.
Well done, you are teh WIN Joey! You got them both right, kudos!! :D Glad you found the anagrams a bit tricky ;)
I'll see if I can get some words from Al Lowe & your other suggestion. But first I'll need to research who he actually is, hehehe!
He is the creator of my favorite game, Zak McKracken!!!
I expect to get paid soon for my hard work, Mods.

No you shouldn't get paid! :p
You didn't mention ME
ME!!! in resonance! :P :P :P ::)
This might be the time to tell you that I don't actually write any of that myself; Mods just borrows my name, and also adds that "drunk german" accent.
Yes, don't you worry. Andail will be fired at a later date when his column starts to go downhill and will never recieve his 5 euro per article fee. Nikolas; there just wasn't enough space after all of Andails incoherent rambling!! :P
Hey Mods, the link doesn't seem to be working for me :(
Jon, you may need to right click & save as...it seems to be working ok... :)
That worked thanks mods! A very funny newsletter as well!
Thanks :)
I am slowly reaching a predicament. I have every intention of going up to issue 10 for free, but beyond that I'd like to know if anyone would subscribe to 12 ten page issues a year for $5? That's one a month, toward the end of each month. I have some strong new ideas for the "bigger issue". It would still focus on AGS, the title of the magazine will be directly related (it has a new name but not until issue 11! :P) See, I need to capatalise on this, providing its popular, as I have rent to pay & don't have the resources to make games...although you will see three this year from Screen 7, two of them being freeware. So let me know. If you think its propostorous that I should charge for it, please let me know about that too ;) But you guys have shown an interest & it's doing quite well on my website too.
