Is anyone interested in a new dramatic mob adventure? I've got most of the artwork done, but I'd like 2 know if it's worth trying. For those interested: it will probably contain a lot of entertaining videos, bad language: frequent+strong, Sex/nudity: whatever you want, Violence: Extreme.

I`ve got the ideas in my head and would have followed the same sort lines as what your doing....
LOADS of contract killing,drugs and internal hits..........blood all over the place.......
My main reference point would have been films like goodfellas,godfather and stuff like that....
I`ll still think about doing it.......

I don't know why people even bother asking "Are you interested in _____?" Chance are you'll ALWAYS find someone willing to play your game. It doesn't take much physical effort to play a game, after all.

Personally, I like Mafia themes but you can hardly expect people to be overjoyed just by hearing it. The genre or style are not what matters. What does matter is how well you pull it off.

I wasn't actually thinking of porn... You see, I'm not very good at drawing that... Violence is another thing, you said it yourself, a mobster's life can be violent... But don't get too excited: I appear to be a decent guy... Not sick at all... So my psychiatrist tries to tell me... :)
I don't think its the violence, profanity, or sex/nudity that make mob stories compelling anyway.
To me the fascinating part about mob films is the unique sense of morality the characters have. They're capable of so much cruelty and selfishness but they have their own ethic system. Its the dichotomy that I find fascinating.
Also come to think of it, except for The Godfather, gangster films generally make me laugh. Gangster films play as black comedies because the violence and profanity are so over the top. I laugh harder and more frequently while watching Goodfellas, and Casino that I do during most actual comedies.
