Or, broken loo! Yars, Mittens aer over! Everyone is randomly returning home, I'm sure... Use this thread to post all your pictures guys!
I'm not actually home yet, I'm still in Oxford at a friends house, but what I can say is that this years Mittens was AWESOOOOME!
It was great to meet y'all, and New York was surreally superb! Next year Oz...
:)
m0ds
PS- big wood to eric for hosting us and a big sorry to Grundislav, sorry I didn't get to say bye to you!
Pictures!
Welcome back everyone. :)
I be back also, but me brain be offline due to sleep deprivation. Therefore, all I shall offer for now is this:
L-R:Ã, CJ, AGA, Scummbuddy, Grundislav, Dark Stalkey, DaveGilbert, Jess, MrColossal, MillsJROSS's head, Andail, m0ds, jetxl, netmonkey.
More to come, after sleep.
That picture alone will fuel my awesome-powered rocketship until I reach Alpha Centauri!
You're back. :) Show me lots and lots of pictures. And then give me a brief daily synopsis of what happened on each day y'all were gone.
WOW, THERES A FEMALE IN THAT PICTURE!!!!
Wotcha woot. Once the jetlag has gone I'll post some sort of real synopsis of the event. Needless to say, every second of it was awe to the max. Thanks to Eric and Dave for hosting us!
You can just about tell who's British by the level of paleness. Welcome back guys.
Them be some fine legs you have there AGA. Ooh! A Female! ...I'm scared.
Yar! Just saw Andail off to the airport in a taxi, so Mittens is officially over for me. What an amazing trip! Eric, thank you again for hosting all of us. The week just zoomed by. It was also a rare pleasure to show NYC to some of you. 9 AGSers crammed into my tiny studio apartment watching "Jerry Springer" has to be one of the most surreal moments of my life. Pictures to follow.
I am back as well, and just got up.Ã, I must say, I am NEVER flying through JFK again...my flight home was also delayed 3 hours and I didn't get back until 12am.Ã, If Mittens hadn't been one of the best experiences ever, I might be upset.Ã, I'll post my pictures at a later date, since I am on crappy dialup and uploading them would take an age and a half.
As I already said, meeting all of you was amazing and I had one of the best times of my life.Ã, Thanks to Eric and family for providing the awesome adventure cabin, and Dave for driving us, putting us up at his place, and showing us around NYC.Ã,Â
I also lament not being able to say goodbye to M0ds and Scummbuddy, but hey, we'll say goodbye at the next Mittens!
Yeah yeah!
--EDIT--
Here's a pic to whet your appetite:

AGS Last Supper
Seated: AGA, CJ, Andail, Jess, Netmonkey
Standing: M0ds, Eric, Jetxl, MillsJROSS, Dave Gilbert, Dark Stalkey, Scummbuddy, Grundislav
I am really cheesed that I missed this.
I vow to be independently wealthy by next year so we can all have Mittens on my private island.
edit: That picture is bonerific.
Can't wait to see some pictures, as I didn't bring a camera.
I had one of the best time of my life...and for those in the U.S. who didn't come, without good reasons, shame on you!
BTW Grund, I have your hoody, you left it in the cabin.
-MillsJROSS
EDIT - Also give us that log, Jet!
First batch of pictures: http://www.agagames.com/netmonkey/mittens2004/index.html
All I want to say is that I had a great time over there, definitely one of the best times of my life. I can't believe that all of us got along so well, even Jess who all of us didn't know until we got there. I hope to attend future AGS gatherings... I'll make the effort to get money and go if it's not too expensive. And thanks to Eric and Co. for providing all the accomodations and putting up with our mess.
Spent about 3 hours turning these into thumbnails and entering captions.Ã, Don't be overwhelmed by the "25 pages" tag, a nice chunk of the pages only have 2 pictures on them.Ã, Blame the photothumb software.

Aah, my hair piece is catching wind!
TEH LOG has to be digitized by hand first. It's 10 pages full of mittens insider news.
Well, now that I've chosen to sleep and totally screw up my body clock, I'd may as well post my photos:
http://www.agsforums.com/mittens2004/
This year's mittens was superb - it was great to meet you Americans and to re-meet the European gang.
Thanks again to Eric and Jess for hosting us, to Dave for driving us and putting us up (and we still owe you money for the parking, oops!); and finally thanks to everyone for coming -- it's the people who make Mittens what it is ;)

Heh, C JONES Rd.
That reminds me that on our way to the Albany airport, there was a car in front of us that had the license plate "Mills J". Crazy stuff!
yeah, btw, I am really enjoying seeing everyones pictures, especially of 'The Days Before Scumm'. And I do have to say that everyones comments are especially funny. Right now, I'm laughing out loud at the comments which is causing ScubaChic to be a bit upset at me, seeing how its 1:34am and she's trying to sleep.
Hooray, you're all back! Looked like such fun, if only I had thousands of dollars to spare to fly to the US... Ah well.
So next year's Australia, eh? Make it Brisbane!
Make it Melbourne!
Preliminary plans [that is to say Layabout and I talking idly] place it somewhere on the North NSW coast, but it can be made Brisbane if Kinoko chooses to plan it :P
In anycase, the sheer number of Brisbanites compared to other capitals makes somewhere in the vicinity desirable. But Byron or Coffs would be slightly cheaper.
DaveGilbert gets a visitor (http://www.agsforums.com/mittens2004/DSCF0211.html)
Hah.Ã, My buddy Kim will be happy to know she is now famous among AGSers.Ã, She told me later that you all seemed like a "nice, laid back group of folks."Ã, She would have hung out longer if she didn't have to run off.Ã, Anyrate, nice pics, CJ.
Wherever it is in Australia next year... I shall be there. Prepare yourselves...
But lets not take away from the fun the guys had this year! Next year can be talked about later, methinks. How about a day-by-day listing of what went on! The drama, the intrigue, the fun, the laughter... you know...
Hey, look like you had some loads of fun this year as well... :D
Damn, I regret I couldn't be there... Oh well, can't win them all. Or any of them, come to think of it.
Hehe, but no picture of m0ds and a plate of milk this year?
Finally home, after an absurd amount of hours' travelling.
I just sleep now, and return when I've slept and eaten and all.
It was amazing, that's all I'll say for now

Aye, and it's fairer to others to at least have it somewhere on the boarder. Besides, I think Brisbanites should leave Brisbane one and awhile and go exploring.
Plus, it gives a chance for a great tradition... THE ROAD TRIP!
/me chugs a beer and smashes the empty can on his forehead!
Argh... I curse being not 18 and poor.. :(
Hopefully the next Mittens in America will be soon 0_o
eh. come to brazil people. I promise a cabin full of girls food
:)
Well, that's that then!
Mittens is totally over with, everyone has gone home and everything has been cleaned up. The septic tank has been fixed and the door has a new lock and the sofa has been fixed...
It's like you guys were never there.
Well, except for Petter's underwear he left, Dave Gilbert's sock and Francisco's white zipper sweatshirt and the 300 pounds of food you left! Good lord! Sadly I was only strong enough to carry 100 pounds back to my wagon...
Other than that you all know how much fun I had and how awesome it was and it was terribly sad to see you all leave. If it wasn't for the thousands of miles of water and continents between us I'd hang out with you every wednesday... Until you told me to stop because I was frightening the neighbors.
and now the pictures:

I think i may have left my blue electric razor at your place. i assume you pay for shipping and handling :P
featuring, of course, lots of product placement :D
LOL, mad pictures so far - loving them all. Mine along with other pics like, Brittens, are almost ready :D I think I left my "Phat Bastard" hoodie somewhere lol, possibly the room I stayed in in the camp, hanging by the door. And I believe I also left my shades at Dave Gilbert's apartment. LOL. Not fussed about the hoodie, but the shades... :p 8)
I can't believe it's been and gone and I didn't even notice anyone was missing, and now you're all back in your respective homes.
I haven't posted or browsed that much lately.
All the photos are great, one obvious standout was the rubix one, the linking of the onion rings.
Well looks like a great time was had by all, and the location looked spectacular (and I'm sure it still does)
I didn't want to bring up any future mittens, but just out of interest, if it was in the Southern Hemisphere would people still want it in June/July (middle of winter [just like an English summer]) or maybe spring? Sep-Nov
Easter? otherwise the traditional mittens 'summer' time (july) i would have thought, best to get it sorted rather quickly as money has to be saved :)
If this year is anything to go by, Winter over here CAN be really cold. Of course it's not as bad as what you guys'd probably get with snow and whatnot, but this year drove me mad... Still, I'm a wimp for cold :)
Yeah! Bring em over in the 45 degree summer.. Then those brits will suffer!!!!
Finally, back on the track...the last few days have been weird, and I've slept intermittently and on unusual hours.
Mittens 2004 Electric Boogaloo was a great event, thanks to Eric for hosting it, he did almost as good a job as I did in 2003. Thanks also to Dave for putting up with me an additional day and night, his touring was great and I didn't want to leave so soon.
I've browsed the pictures, and I guess no event so far in history as been this well documented; more or less every minute is covered. The last supper picture should almost go in the front page of the AGS homepage, it's completely awesome.
Some highlights:
1. Bonfire with mashmallows and guitar and an extraordinary night sky by the lake
2. Dodge ball
3. The ultimate GTD ala Eric's punch verb
4. The Jet Ski ride
5. May-lay water polo
6. Illegal drinking in Saratoga
7. Sharing bed with Mark
8. Beating Fransisco in various Atari games one extremely late night
9. New York sightseeing
10. New York nightlife with Dave's homosexual karioke crew
and a hundred other happenings...

Hmmm... keep in mind that some of us in the northern hemisphere
do not have school from may/june until august/september, but I'm not sure how many people from this side of the world will go to Mittens Oz anyway (as of now, I can't go... then again, I just spend a bunch of money on Mittens and who knows if next year I'll have extra money ;)), and I have no clue what the school schedules on that side of the world are.
I still think we deserve cooler titles. How about this:
Attended one mittens = mittens crew
Attended two mittens = mittens veteran
Attended three mittens = mittens elite
Whether it was '02 or '03 etc doesn't matter.
I dunno, maybe I'm just a title whore. Still, variety is fun.
four mittens = 1337 m1773n5 g03r ?
Does 1 mittens and 1 brittens get a title? :p but yeh, i prefer the 'crew' than 03
What about addng the word Crew to the end of "Mittens '03"?
Hmm.. maybe if you went to both mittens and brittens you should get the title "MittBrit"? :D or.. there should just be a second title, otherwise it would be something like "Mittens (('02/'03/<null>) Crew/Veteran), Brittens Crew" and that's a pretty long title.
But I'm not the commander of justice (CJ) of these forums, so I can't solve your problems.
I don't think chris wanted too many titles, so Andails suggestion, or what we have at the moment..
My chief points would be the simplicity of having just three different titles, the coolness of not having a lame year in your title, and the reward for having put up with you computer geeks three bloody times!
I think the forums would collapse under their own weight if I got any more custom titles...

That was my favorite because we were almost ready to kill him! ;D I hope that m0ds or AGA took a picture of him parked out in the lawn.
And don't forget:
22. Grundislav playing the Ace Quest Adventunaire "theme" every 5 minutes
23. Blowing up a bed every night
24. AGA and Dark Stalkey eat 300 donuts each (rough estimate, probably more than 300!) :P
25. Exploring the secrets of Diarrhea Island
26. Burying m0ds in the sand and giving him anatomically correct sand-made body parts :P
27. Christopher Walken and the Crazy British Lady

Ok, I've sorted out the titles. Please let me know if I've missed anyone.
m0ds, the reason your title isn't showing is an issue with the forum software, where if you're a local moderator it overwrites your title. If you look at your posts in other forums, it does show the mittens title.

Christopher Walken only made half the attendence he should have.
Trust me, Christopher Walken was there just enough.Ã, I'd like to add my favorite moments:
31. The Europeans trying Cap'n Crunch.
32. The first expedition to Diarrhea Island (in the rain).
33. Playing poker with Mills and Eric at ungodly hours of the morning.
34. Listening to the GTAIII soundtrack while driving through New York.
35. Singing "Bohemian Rhapsody" and NOT being told to "Shut the f-ck up!"
36. CJ's girly screams.Ã, :P
37. The horrific realization that we had been eating cereal out of a cat's dish for 2 days.
My pictures won't be up until later in August, probably around the 21st or so.Ã,Â

38. Trying to cook hotdogs by fire.
39. Finding out that smores aren't as universally known as they should be
40. Fighting for supremacy in Risk.
41. Fighting got supremacy in chess with Andail...what a close game!
42. Arm wrestling!
43. Schooling Eric in Fransico in poker and winning nothing.
44. Looking at all the new and upcomming games from fellow mitteneers.
45. Going from one place to another for a pool table, and never finding one, other than the kiddy one.
46. Getting out of the ice cold shower only to be told that the faucet works backwards.
47. Waiting for 17 hours, just Eric, Jess, and myself, for the other mitteneers to come.
Easily this has been one of the highlights of my life.

51. Jess schools dave in super puzzle fighter, and anyone else who crosses her path
52. jess schools eric in mit-olympics arm wrestling competition
53. The americans school the europeans in the ways of Aqua teen hunger force
54. Jess gets schooled in a one week crash-course about adventure games, and realises why her boyfriend is having an affair with the computer.

64. don't forget Jet as a beutiful purple haired lady falling down on the rocks,
and eric's wet lawn almost destroying CJ

Thank you, CJ!
I like the picture you took from the plane of Paris (I think). It looks really cool, but very very creepy. Too bad you didin't capture the whole city, though.
oo oooo how about the time when CJ had something on his arm, and Eric using the non-universal symobl for look at your arm towards CJ, (something to the affect of 'what time is it', with pointing to the arm), well, a minute or two later after we discuss the difference between pointing the the wrist meaning watch, and to the forearm, meaning something is on your arm. well, at first glance this thing on the arm could be mistaken for a a very large bug, which of course CJ did, and he lept out of his seat, and his skin...
ahh.. good times.
(it ended up being something like a fuzz ball, but its all good)
Another fun time was during the mittolympics when we were finishing up the archery tourney, and two of us left to fill up the soda cans with water, but sprayed water all over the grass, which left another one to yell "Hey, I don't think the lawn needs anymore water than it already has" (Sorry I don't remember who said what and who did what or who killed who.. this is a happy engagement with huge tracks of land)

Have you guys noticed that on the group pictures, Andail rarely (read: never) wears a shirt.
But with events like this:
QuoteI left my "Phat Bastard" hoodie somewhere
How couldn't he?
Being a Mittens Elite carries a certain responsability of loosing a lot of shirts through the years, I presume.
Maybe he is aspiring(sp) of becoming like that guy from Apprentice 2?
__..
of course, nhf andail ,)..__
He'll invent "Don't-bring-a-shirt-to-Mittens-day" if you don't Watch him.
You must understand, the King of Sweden is entitled to certain rights, such as not wearing a shirt if he so pleases.

...what?
Grundislav, if I'm not skinny, skinny doesn't exist.
About my non-shirt-wearing; Butcher doesn't wear pants, I don't wear shirts. It's as simple as that.
sob, if only i wasn't going to uni in september, then i would have been able to spend my savings.....
Oh well, I think University is a slightly more important investment of my hard earned pennies, although if I dont get the grades I need I'll have £2000+ for Oz next year and a whole year of working to earn even more money for uni.
Bah, take out a student loan and get a part-time job, and you'll have plenty of money to get tickets to Mittens.
Also, disregard those bumps on your testicles. Doctor appointments are expensive and Mittens is important.

If you guys ever make a mittens game, this should so be a plot. And instead of people, you should all be kittens. Because kittens lost at the UN sounds adorable.
I think that would be the GREATEST Game Ever.
Speaking of Adventuring someone's brain, I can't stop "Solving" puzzles anymore. Like, my bbrother will walk into my room, and I'll be building a contraption out of two or three random items, to do something that a paperclip or a peice of tape could accomplish just as easily.

There is already a mittens game under construction. I'm afraid it features neither UN nor kittens, but we could always do a sequel.
Yeah I've been waiting for a full report of Mittens 2004. I know there was one for last years one and it was an enjoyable read. Maybe I missed a link somewhere.

Yeah. sorry about this. The team competition game took some precedence, I'm afraid. The infamous mittens game will be released soon after the competition ends.
Because hindsight is worth 20/20, (and also because it's funny to call people on stuff) I present to you select quotes from the old pre-Mittens threads, and what REALLY happened...

You misspelled his name?
So when are we getting the log...I am waiting with anticipation, so I can go back to memory lane. It's only been two weeks, and Mittens already feels as though it was loooong time ago. Yeah, sorry bout that. I don't have much time because I have to work, and after work I go to bed because my job is exausting, and my co-worker smell weird. (I actualy almost lost my sent to smell because of my job.)

Hahaha, love the 'fro, CJ. Looks like you were giving Mills a run for his money at one point.
Hehe, if you think that's an afro, you should've seen me when I was 13.

I haven't shown much from my own photo-album yet.

I present to you, The Mittens Eye Game. (http://www.agagames.com/MittensEyeGame/) The Mittens attendees were:
AGA
Andail
CJ
DarkStalkey
DaveGilbert
Grundislav
Jess
jetxl
MillsJROSS
m0ds
MrColossal
netmonkey
SCUMMbuddy
Guess which eye belongs to which AGSers (or girlfriend of AGSer...)
Ok then, I'll go first.
$5 says that 100_0365 is Scummbuddy.
It's a trick question, they all belong to me.
Using my stunning powers of deduction, (and also the fact that AGA didn't switch up the order in which they were taken) I'm going to guess that in order on the page, they are:
Spoiler
AGA, Grundislav, M0ds, MrColossal, Andail, Jess, DaveGilbert, DarkStalkey, jetxl, MillsJROSS, CJ, netmonkey, and Scummbuddy
I dont think we even have to guess who 100_0291 is. :D
Reading all your interesting posts and looking at the photos, and wishing I'd joined the forums a few months earlier...
However I am noticing that you all seem to be blokes. Are chicks not allowed to like adventure games? Should I just go now? Lol.

Pelican: There was one chick, and she enjoyed it, as far as I could tell.
The male dominance has to do with the gender-relation in the community as a whole. There are simply too few female members.
You could always go to the next event. I'd reckon there'll be a british meeting within a year.
I agree with Andail. Mittens is still just evolving.

Actually, the ratio of males to females is 6.8:1. But I will agree that to there are not enough females "involved" in the community. (http://www.agsforums.com/yabb/Smileys/default/undecided.gif)

That's perfectly understandable though, especially a group of random guys from the internet. In a way, it's a vicious circle since girls don't tend to want to go since there aren't any other girls there ;)

Hehe excellent, I'm glad somebody did get some photos on the infamous Diarhhea Island after all!
Just a general question - is there generally an age limit surrounding attending Mittens? I know at various big meetings I've had with my friends, we've had to put a limit on people under 18 attending because of various things like alcohol being involved or even going to a licensed place like a karaoke bar or something. Just to avoid weirdo mothers taking us to court or something.
Mittens 2003 had a mininum age limit of 16; Mittens 2004 had a minimum of 18. The general thinking seems to be to keep the minimum at 18 for future Mittens, partly for the reasons you mentioned.
AGA's Mittens 2004 photos (http://www.agagames.com/Mittens2004).
I remembered at the last second to delete the two top-sekrit pictures btw, CJ :P
Out of AGA's pictures, I don't know which one I find more odd... the picture of me shirtless (for the ladies... and the guys?) or the picture of Grundislav and DarkStalkey shirtless.... in bed. ???
Hah. That reminds me. I should burn those sheets.
And M0ds, look what I found behind my dresser:
You found a strange, beglassed man?
You should keep him, he's quite good-looking
I don't know about that, it looks kinda creepy... Just kidding.
Haha.. he found Marks sunglasses that he left. As long as you don't drink my Cherry Coke I left, we're cool.Ã, ;)
I ate m0ds M&Ms bag. they were delicious. Yum ;D
Right now I'm working on my account of my Mittens Report. I hope everyone else is doing the same. I should have it up within a couple hours.
Will that include your videos? I'm dying to see the German Expressionist film.
haha, i forgot about that. Yeah, I'm thinking about how to upload those. but they wont be directly included in with this.

Heh.Ã, More like TEN years.Ã, ;D Quite an experience, to say the least.Ã, I quite enjoyed driving again, despite getting us horribly lost a few times on the way back to my place. I was never so happy to see the NYC skyline in my life.
Nice report, Scumm. I am eagerly chomping at the bit to see those videos. Get those uploaded toot sweet!
I send mine to vel so he can put it in the E-zine.
Ohhh man. I just watched the mitten video. Freakin' Hilarious. Especially when I left my camera in the hands of these crazy fools. Most of the time I had no idea that they had taped anything, which I didn't mind at all, plus it was a nice surprise. There are a lot of mini clips at the beginning (before the discussion) which can be cut up and uploaded pretty easy, so I'll get on that. The discussion is like an hour long and will be edited and such, which will come a bit later.
Just keeping you all updated.
Nice report Scummbuddy, was a good read :)
Anyway, upload those vids ;)
Yeah, great report. I really wish I could go on the next one. Mum's can be such a nuisance sometimes. Ah well, I'm a student, it's not like I'm rolling in money anyway. Probably couldn't afford it.
Wow, even after editing, all the movies together, top out at 109 MB (Not counting the discussion video). Sooo.. maybe I'll rotate them. I don't know how my comcast site will like this.Ã, ;DÃ, Save them to your hard drive, I'm told, if you have trouble viewing them. And no, Mark was not happy, thats just a pencil in his pants.

New York screws me!
I recently got in the mail a bill from the state of NY. Its a fine for failure to pay a toll. the toll was like 6 bucks and a fine of 30 dollars on top of that.
I belive I can recall the time when it may have happened. m0ds and I were in my car and we came to one toll, and it appeared broken, or free, so after a line of cars behind me started honking, I gave in and drove off.
NY city one, Homer zero...
Typical New York State trying to screw everybody out of their hard earned money.Ã, It's now even worse that they are trying to get money out of people who don't live in New York. WTF is that.
Scummbuddy, on behalf of New York State. I'm sorry.

I just got the same letter, Scummy. I remember that toll booth exactly, as I was staring at the darn thing for a few minutes trying to find a slot to put in my money. I also thought it was broken, and I drove on through. Odd that they sent us that letter nearly four months after the fact. I'm sure that toll booth is now repaired and looks all nice and sparkly and we can't contest it. Oh well.
Yeah, I remember that too. It had a sign saying something like "if you're paying in cash, drive on" which we did, and then never had to pay.
Bad luck guys, I'll pay my share of the fine at the next mittens :)
Speaking of mittens, whatever happened to our live GTD discussion? ;)
I remember the exact occasion as well. You should try to appeal. If you're two different cases, it's bound to have a deeper impact.
Also, you should try to find out who squealed on you. The informer must be one of your fellow AGS:ers.
Like...AGA.
I remember it too! More defense for your case.Ã,Â
Now, does this mean that the state of New York is in possession of photographic evidence of all the Mitteneers cramped into the 8 passenger van?
Someone must break into the archives and retrieve it, for the good of mankind!
You can't prove anything! ¬_¬
Phew...
Ten pages of reading....
I honestly must go to one of these, maybe someone could host it in London our around there? Ã, ;D
Bah, London was sooo 2002 :P
However, there may well be one of these (http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/yabb/index.php?topic=14951.0) again next year.
ha ha yes very funny, traffic fines...
NOW PAY UP!! We need that money!
The state of New York has a smack habit and it needs 60 bucks to quench the thirst!

This would have never happened if it was hosted right here in the dirty northern western south.
Scumm, where's the video of our live GTD? The world needs to see it! The human race hangs in the balance!
LOL, Netmonkey - your comment; "The Brits were so excited about being in the United States and having Dollars that they bought a bunch of candy and snacks. They left everything behind for MrColossal and Jess to eat! We found more food after taking the picture." and the corresponding picture (http://www.agagames.com/netmonkey/mittens2004/Mittens2004%20076.html) cracked me up all night. I wondered on the plane what had happened to all that stuff I'd bought like M&M's, lol, I needed them for that flight because I knew I wasn't going to enjoy the on-board meal so much! LOL, there's my M&M's behind the Tetley!!
We later found two unopened bags of M&Ms, and I took the bigger one. There're rumors that Mr. and Ms. Colossal look like two giant blueberries these days (think Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory), after eating all that candy and chips (crisps), and drinking all that tea, and eating all that fruit and cereal and super softee Donuts!
If I remember right, didn't m0ds record some audio throughout the event? Is there a possibility we may hear it?
We still have our gaming discussion, as well. I hope we can see that again. I know it's probably rather huge, but I'd still love to see it, at least the best of clips.
-MillsJROSS
I was just talking with NetMonkey about that. I've got some editing to do, and if Iqu or someone wants to host, then that would be sweeeeeeet. I was going to ask Iqu first, since that's who hosted the first Mittens 2004 videos for me.
and I just want to say before hand, punch was just a suggestions for a verb! Not the only verb one can and should add!
Seriously, what are you talking about?
-MillsJROSS
But eric, why would you want to punch everything?
He's a violent kinda guy. Don't you remember how many times he tried to deck you at Mittens, CJ?
Tried? I still have the bruises :'(

So rather than have it die quietly on my hard drive, I offer it for your listening..pleasure?

Oh jeez, I thought I was forgotten, right until the end there, but you did forget Jess, but you'd have to get a lady-friend to do the 'hello'.
Please continue with the show! If you do, I just may get around to finishing the editing of the Game Theory Disc. ;D

Excellent, Mills. That really brought me back. The songs were perfectly chosen.

That makes me wonder when mittens will be held also.
That makes me wonder when the inaugaral Sporrans will be held... :=
Thanks for putting that together Mills. Many great memories of Mittens 2004 that I wish I could go back and re-live.
Truly one of the most enjoyable weeks of my life, something I'll still be remeniscing about in 50, 60 years time.
I think an Australian who shall remain nameless until he wants to be named is waiting for more of a show of interest before committing to organising anything for Mittens 2005.
Nice work Mills, brings back memories :)
Which reminds me, if anyone has any extra mittens quotes for the AGS easter egg, do let me know.
QuoteI think an Australian who shall remain nameless until he wants to be named is waiting for more of a show of interest before committing to organising anything for Mittens 2005.
Perhaps that certain Australian should start a "Mittens 2005 - who's coming?" thread to find out!
Oooooh! Would love to see the Mills thing but 26 meg ain't healthy for me.
DS - yep, there is some SECRET sounds from Mittens 04!! Including exclusive comments on FOY - I will convert these sounds from dictaphone to PC asap :D
Brittens ideally in July.. We can go to the same place or somewhere new. I'll certainly organise it if it's in the same place again. That's the best for when people are coming from abroard but if no-one comes from abroard perhaps we could all meet and camp or something somewhere else?
Australia! Neat. I'm almost up for it but it will be costly! And when (apart from John, who happened to be in the UK anyway) did any Australians go to the other Mittens, eh, eh!? Fucking slackers :D
I think Wales was suggested for brittens ;P
That was really only because we weren't sure if m0ds was planning on hosting this year. AGA and I said we'd do it if that was the case. England is better for people coming in to London airports.
As much as I want to go to Australia, I think it would only be Brittens for me this year.
Very nice slideshow of Mittens. Good music, and funny pics of everyone when they least expected it. Along with some beautiful scenery.
