If you're interested just speak up :) I recall some peeps saying they would be. I've been looking at this place, on the outskirts of London, wouldn't cost each of us (up to 15) more than 40 GBP for up to a week:

Thats really just a quick scan.
So feel free to suggest other places if you wish, or camping ;) Also any preferred dates, etc etc. I'm up for it, as cant go to USA, but would rather do something inexpensive as I know there are others like me who don't have much money that may want to go.
I'm happy to organise a UK thing if enough people want to meet up for an AGS short break. And the ability to sleep 15 at that place isnt bad at all! And I see grass. Which is rare for London :P
Interested (but in no way confirmed!):
AGA
cat (visit)
Davy
Jake
Kim
LimpingFish
Mods
Puddin' (visit)
Radiant
SinSin
Stupot
Technocrat
Tier

I would definitely consider joining. I'm not sure of my summer schedule yet, though.
No problem Pieter! Just a bit of interest at this point is fine :) Keep an eye on dates and be sure to say what suits you and what doesn't when you can.
Consider my interest piqued.
As always depends on funds and timing, but seems doable.
"Suitable for children of all ages" - It's perfect :-)
Nice one Stu! London will be buzzing this year I'm sure, but hopefully that won't mean transport problems etc. Anyway I'd be fun to add a game-jam element than just sightseeing but of course only as an activity, not a priority :)
Over the weekend of Aug 12th we could involve ourselves in the Olympic closing ceremony, for example!
yeah, count me and kim in for a jaunt. :) I'd rather somewhere countrysidish or somewhere more offbeat personally, but will go wherevers. :)
Understood, cheers Davy, Kim! I'll look into some countryish places also. The price of that inner-city place above may be an error, waiting on a reply - it seems very cheap compared to most other deals, but perhaps that is just the countryside places being more expensive. Thanks though!
Wish I could make an appearance again
would be mint to see to some faces again.
Cheers Ant. Did you ever go to any event other than that one Brittens at bezza's? :=
Still not sure about my job situation this summer, but I'd be interested to come for a weekend.

nah mate iv been a little busy bugger lately with zero funds. Things are looking miles better these days tho. Dunno if il be able to attend this year however if decisions are made and im in the right place job wise I can always get the train n that. :)
I live within walking distance of the place you linked, Mark. If it's there I will certainly make some sort of appearance.
Oh, and CJ's about half an hour away too.
Davy, not all of London is as bad as the centre. You'd probably enjoy it more than you'd think. And London has no shortage of offbeat places, silly boy.
I could get there in less than 2 hours from my mum's house, assuming I'm back at my mum's for a while after uni finishes. But depending on jobs etc, I could be living absolutely anywhere when the time comes.
As for other suggestions, what about camping on Wimbledon Common (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JZJPeicA6-Q)?
I'm fairly tempted, what with trying to be more sociable and everything lately. Although, it would involve going outdoors and being exposed to sunlight...decisions decisions...
Count me in.
...
Do it!
Cheers Chris, Berian, James, Cat.... Neat!

Life's not
that bad is it, Jake? :P
I'll probably be able to visit, but not stay the whole period.
Are there any dates decided yet?
I'll be there, probably not the whole time though. I'm down in Greenwich so Streatham and Brixton aren't too far. Count me in, but I'll probably stay at home and visit for days and evenings.
And grass in London isn't that rare, there are lots of parks.
As for dates, avoid the Olympics is my only suggestion.
Meh, no dates yet, that location never got back to me and I have a feeling it was a misplaced/priced ad. I'll try and look into other places to stay in the next few days, got quite a lot on right now.
It did seem a bit unlikely, a place that cheap so close to the Olympics. Didn't want to say anything because I was hoping it was right!
