Possible DOTT bug?

I started playing DOTT again for the first time in years, and I can't remember a whole lotta' stuff.  Anyways, when I use the stereo, the fake barf hangs half off of the ceiling, though a few friends told me that it's supposed to fall to the floor.  Could it be that maybe my version is a different one from the one that the general public uses?  Any help would be appreciated.

OHHH!  Okay.  I tried looking at some walkthroughs about that little thing, but none of them mentioned the speaker.  Thanks.
