I hope I can get it today.

I'm 99% percent sure they won't bother to do an English version soon, like that zak fangame.

The release has english subtitles, but they swore they'd release an english voice add-on pack some time after the main release... dunno, maybe they won't. I wouldn't mind that much though, as long as It's got the subtitles. It's not like it's a bad thing, at least it has english subtitles, they could have just released a german game.

EDIT: Meant to say, the download isn't on the site yet, but yesterday (from what I could decipher on the forums :-\ My german is non-existant) They maintained that today is the day, probably in the evening.

How big is the file exactly?

An early mistake I've noticed with it is that George no longer speaks in the past tense for descriptions, and some of the puzzles have a rather...mature and not very Broken Sword-ish edge to them.  The game itself is pretty competently made, though I think that with most amateur games that use 3d, the 3d character models are pretty poor compared to the rest of the game.

A large-ish 698 Mb. I couldn't download it at all last night, too many others downloading slows it down.

Well, I played through it.  Fairly good-sized game, but it has some of the worst puzzle design I've ever seen.  The gameplay resorts to solve a puzzle to lumber into another puzzle to another that are clearly there for padding, and several of them are just ridiculous:

Spoiler
oh no, I need a magnifying glass to read this small text on the stained-glass window!  Never fear, a group of tourists have suddenly appeared outside, and one of them have dropped a magnifying glass, yay!  But wait -- I can't pick it up for some reason, so the only solution, CLEARLY is to sit at the nearby cafe and order a coffee so the tourists leave!

'Logic' like this pervades the game, sadly:

Spoiler
I can't enter this building without a flashlight, but wait -- a bum in a seedy alley is playing with one!  I'll just trade some panties for it and discover the batteries are dead, forcing me to open a FUSE BOX it wouldn't let me near previously to find a replacement pair.  Yes, a fuse box...a box for fuses.

I applaud their effort overall, but I think they could've done with a few competent puzzles instead of a ton of really silly ones.

I tried the other night to download this but gave up. I have High Speed DSL and it was telling me that it would take over 5 hours to download.

I shall try again soon.

I have a feeling that my game will end up being as large as Broken Sword 2.5, if not larger.

Weird.  Are you using Vista?  Not that I made the game or anything, but it works fine for me in xp.
