Are there any templates for characters such as Sam & Max, DoTT, Mi3?
I know your going to say use the search button, I did and all I came up with are dead links to download from. I would've also replied to the latest thread talking about it, but it was locked. So hey, no thread digging nor am I breaking any rules....
So, yeah, does anyone have any of the sprite templates on hand? I can't find any.
Thanks in advance! :D
I don't know of any templates, but considering the style you're looking for you might be interested in this link:

Over its 5 pages, there's a lot of discussion in "what makes DoTT-style", and what should be done, and what to avoid, and between Misj', Loominous and ProgZMax, and various other artists suppliying informations, opinions, criticism and even helpful diagrams and VERY detailed explanations, it could be of great help.
In fact, I think that thread should be stickied, or something.
A german fan-site for Maniac Mansion and Day Of The Tentacle has a large "Starter Kit" that contains fan-made and oiginal artwork for rooms, location, guis and inventory, plus sound effects. It has a DOTT section that contains the main characters Bernhard, Hoagie and Laverne- their animations, even their speech files. The name is DOTT Starterpack 2.
The pack is made to be used with "Visionaire", but since it contains simple bitmaps and wavv/mp3, that shouldn't matter too much.

And another link...

I'm also quite sure that KhrisMuc and Mulle may drop a line here; they're quite involved in the Maniac Mansion scene.
If the forum search was no use, what about the web at large?
A quick google turned up the four walk anims and stationary sprites for Sam and Max HERE (http://www.gsarchives.net/index2.php?category=all&system=computer&game=sam_and_max_htr) .That was the first result for 'sam & max sprites', but a little digging should turn up some more.
