After "Chris Jones" as "the creator of AGS" and "Chris Jones" as "the actor playing the game character Tex Murphy", i found another Chris Jones, leader of a 3D game engine project : http://www.opengameengine.org/ ...
Is there a kind of immaterial omniscient entity named "Chris Jones", obsessed by video games, materializing into mortal bodies whenever it wants?
Chris Jones was also a programmer for the Gameboy Color version of Grand Theft Auto.

See!!!!
Or maybe "Chris Jones" is just another "John smith" ;-)
i also saw a Chris Jones on the team of Fallout, showing in the credits in the intro, i think as a programmer. (i hope i'm remembering the right game)
He obviously has a couple of identical twin or triplet brothers.
Also, don't forget Tex Murphy. :P

We must test this hypothesis! Are there a significantly larger number of Chris Jones working in video games than otherwise?
According to the first page of Google when searching "chris jones", no.
According to this (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christopher_Jones) wikipedia link, no.
/me is disappointed with the result
Which of these Chris Jones' was a producer on the adventure game, Amazon?

That was an Access game, so clearly the Tex Murphy one.
If you see here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Obsidian_Entertainment), to the right you'll find one
QuoteChris Jones, Technical Director
who worked on both Star Wars: KotOR II and Neverwinter Nights 2!
Chris Jones obviously isn't a person, it's an organisation. Duh.
Don't forget Chris Jones, singer/songwriter: http://www.chrisjonescoalition.com/ (http://www.chrisjonescoalition.com/).
...and don't forget
- The american actor
- The american football player
- The television reporter
- The Roman Catholic Bishop of Elphin of Ireland
- The Professor of Social Work at the University of Liverpool
and the English Sailor circa 1570-1622!
LOL.

Eww... Bluegrass... I would have expected more from a Chris Jones.
There ought to be rules about who can be named Chris Jones and who can't... Some of these characters we're all digging up are just pitiful. They're not at all Chris Jonesish.
I demand a Chris Jones review board! Before any child can be christened Chris Jones it must be proven that their life achievements will be worthy of such a title.
According to MobyGames, there are 17 different Chris Jones involved with the games industry:

It's a plague!
And all this time that Cee-jay was nothing more than an aphrodisiac...who knew he was really some sort of video game god who could incarnate himself into the bodies of multiple mortals (even at the same time) to bring his way about the world...
By the way...did anyone else notice that Chris Jones bears stunning (and by stunning I mean somewhat noticeable if you're half-asleep as I) resemblance to that true video gaming hero: Guybrush Threepwood!?!

It's absolutely remarkable.
[EDIT:]
Updated CJ image to one on wiki since the other decided to stop working. ;)
Thumbnailed images.
That's an amazing and fun fact ;D
The target is clear - by 2025 ALL personnel invovled in game making will be named Chris Jones and will be manufactured on a factory on the moon, cloned from the DNA and Brain tissue of the original game genius who first took the name "Chris Jones" ;D
And now if I can be serious, "Chris" and "Jones" are too of the most common names in English speaking countries so it's very probable that there will be several people named Chris Jones in such a big industry as the game making industry. I researched Mobygames and found a few other common names that many game makers share - there are 12 John Smiths, 22 Michael Smiths, 10 Steve Smiths, 14 Chris Smiths, 10 John Taylors and you can find more popular names this way.
Yes, but obviously there can Be Only One, which is why all these Joneses carry heavy two-handed swords under their trenchcoats or other attire, and if two of them meet they will battle to the death to absorb the other's Chrissitude!
You're all just 'keeping up with the Joneses'.

That sounds like the plot to the next ground-breaking adventure game!
Or maybe just the plot to Highlander...

Crap, i was trying to make a mini-game where he was the hero, but everytime i draw him, someone brings up a new picture of him where he looks totally different. I guess i'll have to go to Mittens 2008 to be sure ;)
Don't use any sprites...just use that thumbnailed image. :P
What I want to know is how come every time I see a photo of our exalted Chris Jones hes eating what looks like an onion ring??
I want to see him in a more manly pose like the young godling that he is.
Hahaha! Hmm, where did Nacho put that awesome CJ sprite? :D
