I was doing a background last night, and I just started this little thing. Just a simple photoshop file (.psd) and also a GIMP file (.xcf) that newbies to background art may find useful. Its got a few little things, to help organise it. The download is a zip file, and I think it's 8k...

Features... (not really! :P)
- 2 Horizon Points for horizonal vanishing fun!
- Designed to create 320x200 res backgrounds, but placed inside a 640x400 size image so that the vanishing points can be placed "off-screen" for even more horizonal vanishing fun!
- Layers are organised into little sectors for easy use... um, yeah!
- A little colour chart thingy, to place the colours you use in a easy to access place... fun!
- And other stuff I can't remember...

Update: Now includes a version for Photoshop 5.5, and also the GIMP version by LGM (hope you don't mind mate :))

Wow.. Very nice.

Just to let others know, this works well in GIMP too. So if you didn't buy PS, or aren't a pirate, GIMP is the way to go.

GIMP-Specific Template

Good job, Ultimo.

(Just a cool observation, the GIMP file is 60 kb smaler than the PSD..)
You. Me. Denny's.
