One puzzle to go, one more to programme but I don't have a clue what it is!

Dragon Slayers, my game is near the finish, but I need one last puzzle.
heres the situation
You are an 8 year old boy who has to get toy weapons for his friends to fight the dragon. The first two weapons are a sword and a catapault, (i'll be a major spoiler if i tell you how to make them) The last weapon is made from a broom, (which you steal off Roger Wilco cameo park janitor) But...
What should be added to the broom to make it a weapon?
my ideas
Feather duster (tickle stick)
Butter knife
glue?
various articles of meat (as a lure)

last thing, do you think it is ok if I use Roger (redrawn/ reainimated) the space quest one not the default ags one.

Day-glo orange paint and two flashlights - and turn the broom into a fake Darth Maul double lightsaber stick thing.

Maybe you could sharpen the end of the broom to make a dragon-lance (requiring a visit to The World's Second Largest Pencil Sharpener or something), or - even better for small boys and brooms - find some sock ears for the broom and transform it into your trusty steed. This should give you added height/velocity to attack the dragon's weak spot...

Voila -- Macgyver turns it all into a Uzi Sub Machine Gun.

I think it's O.K. from both a (1) community (feel free to correct me, as I'm still a newbie myself) and form a (2) legal point of view.

Ad (1): Nobody seems to shun Night of the Hermit or KQ1VGA.

Ad (2): I think parody or homage can be considered "fair use" in the sense of the American copyright and thus isn't copyright infringment.

Personally, I like cameos and would appreciate it if you redraw him, but I would consider it impolite to rip the sprite from a SQ.

The idea of the broomstick hobby-horse gave me the giggles.  Mainly because I did that sort of thing as a kid, but it's still a funny image.
