The Secret Of Monkey Island : The Movie (Project Idea)

Hey all, Im looking for some Input here
I've posted this on WMI and ScummVM Website, Im not looking to spam the internet with my Idea Im just looking for MI fans with their opinions on this project

Also a while back I 'dabbled' with AGS, to my 'untrained eye' it would seem its completely possible to remake Monkey Island 1 & 2 with AGS and turn them into 'Talkie Versions', I can imagine that It would probabally take ALOT of scripting & programing .... but then maybe someones figured out how to rip MI 1&2 apart and stick it back together again.. I admit I know nothing to even remotely assume anything, but this is why I'm asking....

Regarding Making A Dubbed Movie Of MI1

My Story:
Back in 1998 I bought a very crappy VCR Editing Machine (£80 woot!) it allowed me to add really crappy looking subtitles, but also I could hook up my microphone and record my voice directly over the video.  A friend of mine was dyslexic and couldnt read the text so when I playing final fantasy or other textual games I would voice act as I was playing so he knew what was going on.  At that time I had the idea for voice dubbing Monkey Island 1 onto VCR and voice dubbed the whole of 'Part One' onto VCR.  The quality was crap, the ingame text was displayed and the icon flies around the screen rather distractingly.

10 years later...

I have fantastic video editing software!

Now I can;
1.Lower the screen position to create a widescreen effect
2.Remove/Hide the Inventory & Commands
3.Remove/Hide all onscreen talkie text
4.Remove/Hide the blinking cursor
5.Add any kinds of voice or sound
6.Lip Sync the characters speech

Question 1,  Does this interest anyone?
I dont wanna spend ages creating something that MI fans wont care about.
Im sure that fans would want to replay TSOMI as a talkie, in which case maybe that would be a better idea.

Question 2, Short of hiring/kidnapping 'Dominic Armato' myself, Does anyone sound like him or any of the main characters and 'knows' how to voice act.  ( I could probabally do him myself as Guybrush is younger and may end up doing most of the characters, but I definitely want female voice actors for Elaine and the Voodoo Lady.

To show people clearly what this will look/sound like I will upload a short video on youtube in a few days to show what the final product would be like.

i'm in the middle of making a talking version of my game. It's not so difficult to gather up voice actors.. but you might get stuck at some point. i'd sure check out the movie as i'm a fan of the games.

Let me know when you get into the process and I'd be happy to provide you with some voice.  I'm a 27 year-old guy, but my voice is pretty flexible and I've been acting for well over a decade.  I can probably do multiple characters for you.

The problem is that the recording equipment on my computer is pretty well below par, but good enough to provide you with any sample you may want.  If you're interested after that, I may have to mail you a tape or something (in order to achieve the highest quality I can give you), but we'll cross that bridge later on when you're ready for voice.
