I've seriously reworked my homepage, www.freewebs.com/skimbleshanks. I'm trying to make it THE place to go to if you need some AGS resource. Currently, it houses all the templates I know exist, ditto plugins, the RON resource pack, Sylpher's space pack and 2 sets of fonts. I'll include aki_ahonen@hotmail.com's Script_Editor when I get around to it.

Now I need to make it grow! Please, come in, check things out and see what's missing, or what could be better. Find interesting stuff. Then tell me about it! My e-mail is on the front page.

I haven't gathered much yet cuz I wanted to get permission from people, and I have been wanting to get my 2D Fighter engine finished.

Sure thing. We can even use my site as a starting point until something more definite comes up. I'm saying this because, I know you already have projects of sites, I've seen them, but unless I'm mistaken they're still empty.

My site empty? No no, it's not empty.

It's also hosted on my machine so no ads slowness etc. No limits. This is a good thing. Only reason I have stocked everything sky high already is cuz I know that 99% of the stuff out there is NOT public domain & that means I like to get permission from everyone before loading it onto my server. That's just common courtesy, and it prevents lawsuits(not that they would file any...just pointing that out).

Why stop collecting? Two collectors are better than one.

Do you like the site layout I have? It's not something I put immense amounts of thought into, except for the fact that the code is probably mostly certified. Also, it could use some extra backgrounds for effect, but I haven't gotten around to hunting for good ones.

About your site, there's only one thing I don't like - it doesn't seem to offer easy navigation, when you think about all the stuff that'll go in. I mean, it's sorta cramped.

Hey nice work just a couple things though..

It isn't 'Sylphers Space Pack' eric did most of the work so if anything it should be called eric's space pack or even Rode's and Corn's Space pack..Though I think just Insta-Game will be good.

Secondly, not that I have a problem with it being there it is just I know first hand a lot of time and effort was put in the pack so I would prefer if either eric or myself is asked before people just upload it and distribute it. I really don't mean to come off as an ass it is just curtious to let the author know...ya know?

Still nice...Keep up the good work.

Exactly my thoughts. That's why my collection may appear insignificant or whatever, heh but what can I do? ^^

redRum: I changed the layout slightly. I hope it's not so crampish now. Also make sure you're using at least 1024x768 resolution cuz that's what I have it for(I think most people have that now...). You don't have to make it fullscreen, but you really will get alot more out of it when it's expanded big.

Also I've worked on some seriously HUGE web-databases before(^^ think evil rom translations), and the nav should work good.

Have faith! Hm but you know what? I think it lacks color. Very dark eh? I will work on it.

Sylpher: I AM sorry. I guess I just assumed that, since you'd posted it out for anyone to grab... I don't know. It's a bit too late now, but if I happen to spot anything new, I'll inform the authors. Thanks for being so comprehensive, too.

Moresco - MUCHO better. I think the colour's fine, though, no need to make it brighter. I mean, the site's supposed to look serious but not business-like, right? If it's wildly colored it's not serious, and if it's all in "blues" or "greens" or stuff, it's business-like. Maybe you should just find a fitting bitmap to show underneath the whole thing and leave it at that.

No biggie red. I mean the pack is released for public use and it wasn't like you were trying to secretly release it or anything. It is just the same as anything anyone makes...they like to know what people are doing with it..

I don't want people to get the feeling like it is okay just to stcik the pack on their page and go "Download tihs! It has FREE!!! imarges AnD sTuff" And then they don't even bother uploading it to their site they whore off my bandwidth..

Which isn't what your doing just heading off the beast before the pass.
