OK, so it's not an AGS game, but is it really an adventure game at all, or actually a hidden object game?
You are quite right, Snarky, in your assumption that this game is classified as Hidden object.
However, it has adventure and puzzle solving.
Darkarta can be bought on Steam. You can play for 60 - 90 mins if you visit the Big Fish site, for free.
I wasn't aware of this game, and will be trying it myself, to see if it appeals. I must say that it looks
pretty good.
Hidden object games have come a long way in recent years and are very enjoyable.

Well the trailer looks lovely. :smiley:
But it won't let me install it on my PC. It tells me 'This Google account is not yet associated with a device. Please access the Play Store app on your device before installing apps.' and 'You don't have any devices'.
So I don't think it's meant for the PC. :sad:

I can confirm that this game is for PC because I have just downloaded the free
trial from Big Fish.
I was a bit worried :confused: when after installation, I got the following message : Microsoft
visual C++ 2012 redistributable (x64) - 11.0.61030. Modify set up. There were
three options - Repair, close or uninstall. I chose repair and the game then ran.
I have made a start but will continue playing tomorrow abw.
There is another game that I would like to recommend called 'City of Fools'
I had hours of fun with this.
