It seems Telltale Games (of the new Sam and Max series fame) have teamed up with internet flash animation giants www.homestarrunner.com and Videlectrix (the guys who've made a load of the homestar runner games, including a couple of text adventure games) to make an episodic series of point-n-click adventures starring Strong Bad. Available for the Wii and PC.

I'm excited ;D

That's really cool.. I love Strong Bad.
Actually that reminds me, I never did get round to playing those Sam and Max games... hopefully they are available as one big download at a cheaper price...

Ultra Magnus

Ya.

The game's actual page is http://telltalegames.com/strongbad, and apparently the first ep is set for release in June.

Should be awesome. :D
I don't mean to sound bitter, cold, or cruel, but I am, so that's how it comes out.

I'm tired of pretending I'm not bitchin', a total frickin' rock star from Mars.

deadsuperhero

My God, that's awesome.
It makes getting a Wii worth it.
Maybe this summer...
The fediverse needs great indie game developers! Find me there!

Isn't Videlectrix just the Homestar guys with fake mustaches on? :)

veryweirdguy

I think that's what they use as a joke, but I think a mate of theirs actually makes the games. It's still not really a company, but not the normal two brothers.

WARNING: The above text may be innaccurate. I am not sure.

Stupot

Yeh I don't think they actually established Videlectrix as a real company.  It's just a made up brand and an homage to the golden age of Atari gaming.
