So, two big Kickstarter-funded adventure game studios are in full swing!, both being helmed by legends from both the golden ages of Lucasarts and Sierra respectively

If you had to only play games from ONE of the two studios, which would it be and why? :)

P.S. I'm Gareth, and I'm new here. Based in South Africa. Pleased to meet you!

Welcome Frenzykitty.
Out of the two, I have only backed DFA.  I would have backed Moebius if it was just the game, but it was that weird subscription system thing system thing instead. I was uncomfortable with that.  However, the game does look really good.  And to be honest, if I hadn't already paid for Broken Age, and could only play one, I think I would choose Moebius.

But if we were to add Broken Sword 5 into the mix then I think I would choose that over the other two.

Absolutely! The new BS game looks incredible!

Jane Jensen is supposedly a "master storyteller," but the summary of Moebius sounds like something from Dan Brown's reject pile ("Malachi Rector"? "F.I.S.T."? FFS!), and the project didn't manage to hold my attention even for the duration of either the pitch video or the teaser trailer. Currently, its most distinguishing feature appears to be terrible graphics. Pass!

Broken Age intrigues me. I like the look of it, and some of the things it promises, but the story doesn't sound all that interesting yet. I did back it, so I'll see what I think once it's released.

I hate to say it but I agree 100% about Moebius. Looks shocking :/ And the GK series literally changed my life, so it's very disappointing.
