Night of The Hermit technical problem

In night of the hermit I know that the magnet with the bush doesn't work on the windows version. I know that I have to switch it to dos. However, I have Windows 7 now and it doesn't work with dos. Will I never be able to finish night of the hermit again?  :'(

Correction: I Can't even START Night of the Hermit with windows seven.

That game is too old. You may try DOSBOX or Virtualisation but there is no promise on whether it can work.
