I was certainly involved to an extent.  You may all draw your own conclusions on this matter, and on my character.  I can certainly understand some lack of respect for me.

To be honest I couldn't care less, although it's the best practical joke I've seen in months (nothing can top those practical jokes on the tv in the airplane). To bad not everybody has a sence of humour. I reckon that the lack of humour caused this situation in the first place.

I never even new there was an SQN. I feel pretty much as Jet does.

But hey - it IS sorta fun. As a practical joke. Though of course like all practical jokes, it stops being fun when you are the pranked instead of the prankster.

Ljubi has not been particularly tactful, and I agree people shouldn't go around teaching lessons. But I'm with him on some of the things he says.

Sure, there's nothing wrong with having a bit of fun.

I find it hard to believe that the joke was ill-intentioned. Maybe a bit immature (like Tiki says), but I seriously doubt they wanted the forums to shut down as a result.

Still, just imagine someone here hacked these forums.

Would anyone agree that there would be a general uproar against the pranksters? Depending on the kind of prank, I can see it happening.

Maybe in the context of the SQN forum that sort of thing was called for and the administrator simply overreacted. I don't know enough to judge.

But I just can't see the point of hacking somebody else's forum for fun.

SQN forums have 100 members and they should to know who is who and to be friends.And Frans trusted tiki and other who did this.
He trusted them and they did that.
That is realy GREAT thing to do.

Anyway, I was on the GameMaker Showcase forums a couple months back, and it got hacked. Totally ruined the forums. I never went back, and I know quite a few others didn't either.

Then again, the GMS was a bunch of little kids.

As for the Tiki-story, please don't bring in other people's fights into this community. Even though it seems there is an entire community hating Tiki's guts right now, he has a clean record here for all we know, and seems mature enough to stand up for his wrong doings.

I don't think any action should be taken against him on this forum or anything, but I will certainly not treat him as if he has a clean record.
