I'm on a team that's currently working on a project and we are looking for a good solution that will help us manage the extensive script and allow for quick iterations to keep what goes in the game with what the VO actors have, as well as any translations. AGS provides decent output in this regard but we would be looking to do this before putting it into AGS... Are there any tools that aid with large scripts and making sure changes are reflected across the board?

I've searched but come up short. Are there any such tools available?
Space Quest: Vohaul Strikes Back is now available to download!

If SpeechCenter (the plugin) doesn't do what you want, it may be worthwhile to speak to SpeechCenter (the user) and see if he can help out?

SpeechCenter

Actually I contacted pcj privately to understand what is the use case. It seems that they are not sure they will use AGS as the engine. So it's possible perhaps to add some features that will aid in building just a script and export it. The question is whether that would help, not knowing what is the target engine makes it hard to assess if this solution would fit. For example, will it be possible to use updates of the exported file in the engine or will that require rewrites?

Still, the gap on the AGS side doesn't seem that large so if such an option is relevant then we can probably work something out.
