Game downloads

 This may or may not be the place to ask about this problem....In the last few weeks I have tried to download several AGS games . The window shows them loading but at the end of load a window shows up saying " Access to specified device, path, or file is denied."Ã,  Ã, 
I've always , well almost always , been able to download and save.Ã,  Has anybody any idea what's going on??
I play through AOL out of state of Connecticut..and I don't think I've changed anything.
So, is (across the pond) not working anymore?

Well, I suppose you had read all of this already.

However, there's some chance that you're behind some kind of firewall or proxy, that you couldn't access some sites (while other people can), we can't help you or verify it unless you can post the names of some of the games whose downloads didn't work for you.

Also, if the link on the AGS site won't work for you, try searching here first, before asking again.

Two of rhe games I've tried to install are, Lonely Night and The Family Treasure.Ã,  Might that help?

Obviously , something has changed since I have downloaded others,Ã,  just not until the past week or two have I tried to download the above.

How about using "save target as..", asummng that you ust the original download button.

Or maybe the games are using mirrors that work but are missing some files?

Hey, If neither of them don't work, you can always ask someone from the forums to download it for you and then send it to you via e-mail...

Actually, JClarke, you won't find those games there... yet. Thanks for reminding me, though. I'm going to add them right now, plus all the other ones I've been putting off. That includes OROW games, even.

I think I allready told you in an other thread that you can PM or e-mail me if the download of my game Lonely Night still doesn't work for you?
I've checked the download link (both actually) and they work fine. I don't know why you can't download my game, but I can send an e-mail with it to you if you are interessted.
