Title: Game Released: Radiant Miss Marie & The Clock That Stopped Ticking
Post by: AJA on Tue 14/07/2015 13:39:38
Hello, you guys! It's been a while since my previous adventure game. I know most of you have been anxiously awaiting for my next project!

*crickets*

Well, that still doesn't change the fact that we made a quick little point & clicker in roughly six days with a team of four. So here it is:

Download now! (http://www.serpentpictures.net/games/The_Clock_That_Stopped_Ticking.zip)

Made with Unity using Adventure Creator (http://www.adventurecreator.org/), created by Chris Burton, ICEBOX Studios (IceMan).

It's a short one so if you have a couple of minutes you want to spend doing some mysterious adventuring, this is the game for you!

Let us know what you think! ;D
Thanks!

You know what?,normally I stay away from games that are too short,I don't know I just feel they're too short to be bother with(anyone else feels the same, maybe its just me).
But i'm also a sucker for mystery game so........SIGN ME UP!.

It's nice.
What sucks about unity is the random scrolling of the room, like when checking out the longcase clock and its clockface, this made me dizzy. And it also sucks that I suck at solving probably the last puzzle, the huge clock puzzle.
Spoiler
does the AM/PM (on the work schedule) have anything to do with solving it?
I managed to set the huge clock to 6oclock and 8oclock, no idea if am or pm though

there is also an annoying buzzing noise over the happy cheerful soundtrack, but maybe this sound is explained after solving that puzzle I'm stuck on...

Selmiak,
Spoiler
There's one more exact time mentioned in the notes you've picked up.

Sorry about the scrolling issue. I'll have to keep that in mind for future projects.

This game was beautifully illustrated, well animated, nicely put together given the time frame, and had solid graphics and GUI. It still broke my heart knowing how mostly true the story is.

Thanks guys!

The horrible real life events that inspired the game were definitely worth making a game about.

The key to making a game in one week is starting strong and then just constantly dropping your quality standards as the week progresses. Plus insanity, lots of it. :)

Insanity I'm all too familiar with -- but quality-wise, I tend to do the polar opposite. As a result of which my most recent MAGS entry turns one year old next month (laugh) And still looks kinda meh.

And I, for one, was actually waiting for something new from you guys. Barely Floating was great -- and this new release delivers, as well. Loving the art direction, too. It makes me neon green with envy!
