Title: Games Convention 2005 - Tunguska Trailers
Post by: dimidimidimi on Sat 20/08/2005 20:06:19
Hello,

I would just like to announce that Adventure Europe (http://www.adventure-eu.com) was present at this year's Games Convention in Germany where many new adventure titles were exhibited. We will be releasing many GC-related articles, videos, video-interviews, and other downloads these coming days.

Today we feature the first trailers of a very exciting new espionage thriller called Secret Files: Tunguska. The game will probably appeal to those who like the X-files series and games like TLJ, Syberia and The Moment of Silence. You can download the trailers @ Adventure Europe.

Also for those of you who couldn't download our video interviews with Wael Amr (Frogwares) and Sebastien Pensivy, I would like to say that we have corrected the problem now and you can download the videos and their subtitles in English with no problems.

Stay tuned @ Adventure Europe (http://www.adventure-eu.com) this week as almost daily we will be updating our site with material from new adventure releases that we saw in the Games Convention.

The video trailers for "Tunguska" are quite impressive. But are those videos mainly made up of the game's "cut scenes" movies?
When it comes out, I'll most likely get it. I wish them much good luck with this game.

Jet is somewhat right, we'd like a little more of an active presence from you Dimi, rather than single pimping threads & nothing else.

As for the trailers, I'll check them out when I get home :)

On the other hand, do "pimp" the things, as others so quaintly put it, as some of us actually like to know these things. ::)

It's not that there is something wrong with the info that you give us, dimi, it just that you ONLY post about your info and don't post about your personal thoughts at all.

Exactly, just become a little more involved perhaps. There is no problem with the pimping, but it is currently all you do here. You'll find that when 18 AGSers get together that some things like this are raised, also points like CJ catering more for newbies with constant feature adding - are they really necessary? Some of the best games were made with an AGS with very little features. Developers worked around these things. Someone told of a game where after several clicks your CD tray would pop open. Thats a game!!??! It'd be nice to see more concentration on game making than what features are available in AGS and that "pop up" in games.

Rui, perhaps add Adventure EU to your favourites? ^^

And Custard, it's silly leaving yourself logged in at a public airport... :P I'll log you out..

Hmm. Innovative, thought-provoking idea. I like it, and I'd follow it, if I didn't already have 10 sites I SHOULD check daily, only 3 of which I actually do (Bruno the Bandit, VGCats and this one here)... so I take the news where I can get it. :) I liked hearing about Eye of the Kraken being made available, for instance (though I really hated the game as I played, but hey, next time it might not be that bad, so I'm all for it!).
