Title: HG Champions league or "A year of hourgaming - 2009"
Post by: on Sun 10/01/2010 18:58:21
Plenty of excitement for the AGS Awards 2009, so I've decided to .zip all the hourgame winners of 2009 (working links only, sadly) and upload them on shutupload.

You can find the file here (http://shutupload.com/dl/4f560488ef25/).

If you want to pick your favourite, we are more than interested in your choice!

What I wanted to achieve is a sort of a "blending back", as germans call it, on the past year activity.

Well, I've played through all the games throughout the year. And the one that's the most memorable to me is Study hard! by Gord10 (http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/yabb/index.php?topic=39002.msg513260#msg513260). I don't know why, I didn't even vote for it in that comp. But it is my favorite.

I think it's been an awesome year for hourgames all together, and I hope 2010 will proove to be as great!

I do agree Gord10's "study hard" is a lovely miniature. Indeed, having had a chance to finally replay them all during my daily tube ride, that one surely is on the top of my list!
"Trying to get out of here" and "merlin the almost dark wizard" are also a must, due to some fresh humor and NPCs.

Let me stress once again that Hourgames show us only few brush strokes are needed to make an enjoyable gaming experience.
