Title: Horror games?
Post by: on Thu 16/02/2006 13:56:12
Hey guys,

I really love horror games - a lot more than other types of games. Just wanted to know, how many games made in AGS are horror based? I only know 7 days a skeptic, 5 days a stranger, Ben Jordan 4 - Horror at Number 50 (okay, not completely horror but somewhat) and Horror Hospital (Incomplete demo) and I've downloaded them all. Could you guys tell me if I missed out on any of the games? And if you know some freeware horror games, please tell  ;D

You totally missed Lost in the Nightmare (http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/games.php?action=detail&id=642). It really is one of the most scary games I've ever played. Play it!

Can't come up with any other good horror games right now though.

ESPER: The Town on the Edge of Darkness

Heart of Abraxas (By Esper, part of the last OROW competition, the thread with the Ã, downloads link can be found from the following link):

A couple of my own short games with a bit of a "creepy" atmosphere to them:

Dark of Night:

And "The Elevator":

Ã, I'm sure there's a few I missed, and there's also a few Games in Production which will have more of these types of games.
Ã,  Enjoy!

*Edit: A couple of you already posted up some of the same links I've mentioned here while I was making this message, but, heck, I'll leave my message as it is.  :)

Already played  ;D. It was awesome, one of my all time favourite AGS games, but nonetheless it did have two flaws - The walking speed was faaar too slow and the graphics were a bit shabby. Yet overall, it really works!
