A question for the younger members

Citing the Maniac Mansion tv show as a positive has got to be a first.  You can probably count the number of people who didn't die a little at the sight of that scar on the franchise's bottom on one disfigured hand!  


Also, the original Maniac Mansion is probably my favorite 'vintage' adventure game ever, so my dislike for the show is more a matter of 'why did they even bother?' than 'I hate anything related to Maniac Mansion!'.
