Dunno if this belongs in the general, but since it's adventure related...

An adventure game creator for the PSP? How awesome is that! I really want a PSP, and I was furiously hoping it'd get adventure games aswell. I always wanted to play Broken Sword on the road. And now maybe I can. It'll surely be no AGS, but this is exciting news!

Have you tried the gba version of Broken Sword?
Psp would be better of course, with the voice acting and "high" res.  At least it can do 320x200.

Yeah I know about it, but I dont own a GBA. Only played the emulated version on pc while waiting for my 'real' copy. ;D

I believe thats an RPG maker rather than adventure but still a good idea. Im getting some more games from the states for my psp on saturday  8)

And you're going to give me THUG2.

Nope, it's a full blown adventure maker. Granted it's for making text adventures with pictures, but it's still for making real adventures!
I make music.

Hmm, sound sinteresting. Still, I'd rather see adventure games on the DS. Having a stylus would make the interface alot easier than what the PSP has.

Looks like it's for making those multiple-choice storybook -like adventures that are rather popular in Japan.

This thread is old, I know, but I had to dig it up.

I now have a PSP myself, and it seems all has come true. ScummVM can be run on the PSP (1.50) thus you can play Broken Sword, Sam n Max, Indy etc etc on your psp. And The Adventure Maker has been released. I understand it's html based, so it runs on 2.0 aswell. Third person is only supported in the $99 full version, but thats for windows apps. We have AGS for that :). support for PSP is the same in both versions. I'll experiment with it, see if it's useful.
