Title: Indie or hobby adventures that were never completed
Post by: Nr. 2698 on Wed 01/02/2023 13:50:00
Hi,

which hobby, fan or indie adventures that never came out via screenshots or a demo would you have liked to see completed?

There are countless projects that have been started and ended in the middle.

Name your favourites, why the demos, screenshots were so great and maybe you know a little story about the project.

Best Regards,

On the top of my head:

Shattenreize. Quite old. I can't seem to find anything about it now.

Tardigrades (https://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/forums/ags-games-in-production/tardigrades-a/), an ambitious space opera by AnasAbdin. He used to post frequent updates with gorgeous backgrounds.

Buccaneer II (https://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/forums/ags-games-in-production/buccaneer-ii-rolling-demo-released!/). Already abandoned when I discovered the first episode - short but promising.

Wretcher (https://www.wretcher.com/#links). This one may still be in development but the demo is twelve years old. We plunge directly into a disturbing atmosphere.

Bury me in the sand (https://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/site/games/game/2175-bury-me-in-the-sand/). Unique summer vibes from the 90s. Unfortunately Funkpanzer hasn't been active since 2021.

Collateral Jelly (https://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/forums/ags-games-in-production/collateral-jelly/) The next update will forever be around sometime soonish  :(
