Title: IndieGames Awards 2008
Post by: Gilbert on Wed 07/01/2009 01:02:40
Didn't know whether this has been mentioned yet, but I came across this and found that in the Best Freeware Adventure Games 2008 of IndieGames.com, there are many AGS games, notably 2, 3, 6, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15, i.e. 10 out of 20 games in the list.

As I haven't checked AGS games much lately, I may have missed some.

Anyway, congrats to the involved AGSers! :D

See full list here. (http://www.indiegames.com/features/index.php?c=ad&y=2008&gid=0)

I knew about this since I was approached to offer a blurb, and I was very happy that Limey Lizard was considered one of the best games of 2008 considering how late in the year it was released and the low-res c64 art.  It's refreshing that people can still learn to enjoy simpler resolutions!

And in my case, horribly sloppy art ;)
It was a big pleasant surprise to see B&B up there!  Thanks Gilbot :D

Not to mention Life of D. Duck II, who would've thought?  ;)

Edit: B&B, to me, was one of the most enjoyable AGS games of 2008 btw.
