Good read. I am always surprised how CJ manages to stay so "invisible" wih all of us worshipping his masterpiece.

He's probably that 'Hidden User' we see under the 'Members online' section below at the index page.

No, CJ's like the most active member of the whole forum (postwise) and he's not a hidden user either...

I have met CJ.

He is not invisible.

He is however indestructable.

That's almost true -- however I do have an Achilles Heel which could bring me down with ease. The nature of this is, of course, only known to my very closest friends and family.

Ice Cold Fosters!!! Take that away, you will take his power!!!

Thats a lie. His achilles heel is hi middle name. Anyone who utters that name will have complete power. That is why he keeps it secret, and only those who sneakily look at his passport at mittens know it!

(http://pics.miarroba.com/caretos/lol.gif) Well maybe it's because I first downloaded AGS like 8 years ago, and it was already a fully working engine! I imagined you'd be at least in your mid-thirties.

Yeah, I hear they're replacing Lucy Pinder with topless pictures of CJ. Way more sexy IMO.

You're not getting the full effect of that interview unless you imagine it in a British accent.

They also seem to have edited out every time Chris said the word "Guv'nor".

For some reason, I just hear an Austrailian accent, not Brittish...eh?
Title: Re: Interview with Chris Jones
Post by: Galen on Tue 15/01/2008 07:13:09
The Aussie accent is basically the bastard lovechild of the British accent and the New Zealand/Kiwi accent.

I just got Dreamfall: The Longest Journey and chuckled at the Australian accent in that.

I wish all Australians would talk like the ones in computer games.

CJ has only one weakness, and that is tiny motorcycles being shot at his mouth.

That guy in Prison Break, Whistler...  He's supposed to be Australian but he's British... You'd think that they could afford to get a decent native Aussie in for that part.

Great interview! CJ, I'm promoting you now for several years in Holland, as one of THE heroes from internet, at least your my hero, in a non-homosexual way! You made my time on internet so much more fun for some years of my life, and I'm still enjoying playing adventure games.

The only thing is that when I didn't found out about AGS, i was so thrilled to see a game being released to be point&click, because I've played all of the games I kinda liked... but now I just can't play every game I like, because of so many releases...

actually after 4 years I still haven't finished Pleurghburg game. :o

I'm here to tell you that within a couple of a couple of a couple of months, if you dedicate serious time to it, you can play and finish all AGS games released and available.

Some, especially Wretched's games, will need a trip to the Hints and Tips forum, but it's doable. ;D
