My problem wasn't that I expect BS4 to be poor, it was the fact that Revolution only seems interested in milking a single franchise.

As it happens I was poking around their forum some months back and a guy from the company revealed that in the current industry climate they're simply unable to produce new IPs while still keeping full control over them. Hence, all we're likely to see from Revolution from now on is sequels to its previous games. Sad situation, really.

This is perhaps the greatest news I've heard for a long time!

I'd have thought everybody would've been over the moon at hearing that another Broken Sword game is on the way.

I loved the first 3 and the 3D made an interesting, yet still fun, change which I think was a good move.

I say bring on Broken Sword IV!

Box Slider... I mean Broken Sword 4!!!1

Cool, I will most definatly get this game.
When I was a little kid we had a sand box. It was a quicksand box. I was an only child... eventually.

I thought I'd post this here, since this topic about BS4 still seems the most on-topic without being tóó old. Anyway, lookie what I found in a gaming magazine that arrived only moments ago:

Translation for those who aren't dutch:

"We end with a scoop that we got just before our deadline: there's a new part coming in the Broken Sword series for the PC, going under the working title of Angel of Death. The makers are going back to the roots of the franchise. And that's a good thing, because part 3 was a bit of a let-down."

:)
Still here.
