I think you'll find a lot of Europeans are planning to go to America, and many will - which is a shame because no American's came to Europe this year.

However, if by North America you mean New York, then yes, a lot of us will be there.

m0ds, we can just COME OVER there. Theres an obstacle called ALOT OF MONEY. It is cheaper to go from Europe to America than it is the other way around. If we had $1000 to blow on going to Mittens we would've been there.

Mittens held in USA will attract much more if the actual stay was free like in Gothenburg. Anyone with a bit of land, a bigger cottage/cabin/tent or the money to harbour us all in a first class hotel, step up now please..

Where you could travel to: Anywhere in California would be driveable within about 10 hours for me, and I suppose neighboring states such as Nevada would be possibly doable.
Where you would like Mittens to be: California.  In particular San Diego has what is widely considered the best weather in the country.  On the opposite side of the state, San Francisco is quite a great city.  Los Angeles could work too.
Can you help locate places in your area for places to stay?:  Sure, if it ends up being close enough.

I think m0ds stated a good point actually that no americans have come to mittens . I'm not sure I'd go to america....

And I think it's just as expensive for us to go there then for you to come here

Travel to: That'll depend on cash at the time.  Within 10 hours, definately.  If cash is available, anywhere.
Preference: San Francisco, CA, US.  It's one of the larger cities near several AGS'ers, a popular tourist city, is probably cheaper for our Australasian AGS'ers.  If I can't get my way even by stamping my feet, then NY would do.  It should probably be decided in a good-for-the-many sort of way, I guess. Of course, Las's idea of New Orleans during Mardi Gras is absofuckinglutely brilliant.
Help with lodging? Sure, but I doubt it'll be here so ...
